Maryland is so green in spring & summer, fall is pretty. winters range from really cold to mild (lately). we don't often get snow on the ground, but occasionally the Chesapeake Bay freezes up. I'm in a small town that's kinda remote, but it is only an hour and a half drive to Washington, D.C. the cost of everything is horrendous. people complain about $4/gal at the pump, but I ride a bicycle to work. did I mention it is a small town? I'm fortunate to have a job in town. I wish to be paid more that I presently earn, but I'm not complaining. there's a ton of people out there scraping by on less. the thing that worries me the most is the sea levels rising ... everything around the chesapeake bay is close to the water ... but it might not happen in my lifetime.
