YOU guys are calling me the King of the GC blog again already!!? Well damn I better give you a good one then:)What an awesome couple days I have had. Me and the boys got together and played the last few days and it felt great. We played some new music and some old music and just had fun being a band. Man I love those guys.I'm happy to report everyone is doing great:)
I have been having so much fun getting ready for this record, just listening to so much music and playing songs I love. I was digging thru some old GC demos from the past records and it's kinda cool to listen to all the phases we have been thru and different directions we have all gone in at times. They are like baby pictures sometimes:)What feels great for us is that you guys always seem to have our back as we try new things and do what we feel we Need to do with every record. It gives us a lot of confidence and just makes it more fun when we don't have boundaries musically. That makes every record a new experience so it never gets old. It means a lot guys, thanx for having our backs:)
So I found this song that I did a few years back. I was in the studio late one night and I put this song down really quick. I wrote it for a friend who I had a little bit of a crush on at the time. I never ever said a word about it and eventually our lives went different ways and this song just kinda stayed buried. It has always meant a little something to me and I have some good memories that are connected to it. Songs are a lot like tattoos, once you write them you always have them forever. Some are better then others, some are meaningful, some aren't, but they all tell some sort of story. So I hope some of you get something out of this song, some sort of amusement or something, try to remember it's a DEMO that i did really quick , don't judge TOO harshly. It's called "Foolish" (sorry I cant figure out how to just add the one so the other one is on there too) enjoy.....
Find more music like this on Good Charlotte So there you go, now I'm gonna run and go get some sleep.
