Nicole Gives Birth!!
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have added another bird to their nest, as baby boy Sparrow was born on Wednesday.
Richie wrote on her Web site: "In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden ... He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow [their 19-month-old daughter] and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes."
Sparrow joins sister Harlow, who was born in January of 2008.
Following Harlow's birth, Richie, 27, said that her new baby "gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.
Rocker Madden, 31, agreed with Richie's sentiments, telling PEOPLE that "having a baby is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me, and to us."
Congrats to the happy couple! I am all over for the pics!
