Looking in mirror
I search for a face
that cares for
reality
looking back to
the past I wonder why
I could never be
looking in the mirror
I search for some one
daring
I try my best to
recognize that I fell to
pieces everytime you walk by
but it's no use

looking in the mirror

that I know so well
but it's hard to tell
with all this makeup on me
I don't recognize the girl
that I see
it must not be me
I'm a stranger to the world
and I wanna rock-a-bye
everthing's gonna be alright

the night light away
whisper to me a secret
story that unfolds
and I'll be alright
looking in the mirror
I wash away the makeup
and I find myself staring
at someone who
falls to pieces at the seams
Someone who cares about reality
someone daring to do something
that none else would ever try
I finally recognize that girl
staring back at me
it's me, myself, my own reflection
I'm alive
