So I've been out on my own for about 8 months now and I've been in my own apartment for six of those months. A lot of stuff has happened and I've grown up a lot in those eight months. As much as I hate to admit it, the whole world doesn't revolve around me like I used to think it did. I've started to get my priorities in order. I'm doing incredibly well in school. I just did my provincial exams for English and Math last month. I got the results back last week, and in Math I got the top mark in my ENTIRE SCHOOL. ( Which is amazing in itself since Math has always been my worst subject.) and in English I had the third top mark in my school. Now that I'm actually doing good in school and starting to think about my future, I've been looking at colleges/universities. I found one that I really want to go to. Emily Carr University of Fine Arts. I want to get my Bachelor's in General Fine Arts and I want to take the Photography class. While I was looking at the site, I was getting so excited. Then I got to the page about tuition fees. $28,000. Well, University is out of the question now. There is just no way I can afford that. And I won't get a student loan for that amount of money because I will be paying it off for the rest of my life. Anyways.. I met my new neighbours, Marvin and Andrea. They're really nice. Marvin is this big Jamaican guy.. it made me lol. They invited me over for dinner last night, and holy s*** is that man a good cook. I can see why Andrea married him LOL. He mad caijun chicken, rice cooked in coconut milk and salad. I don't think I've ever eaten so good in my life. But they won't be my neighbours for long... I'm moving back to Chilliwack in the first week of April. I'm so excited. BEYOND excited actually. OH! And my mum's buying me a Farret because I'm smart. Hahhaa. I've already made up a list of everything I want to buy it. And I'm going to name it Bam. AND I'M GOING TO SEE RANCID IN JUNE! F*** YES!
