I've read a few comments on here from people who say that they aren't too excited about this record, and I just wanted to say something.
For those who may ask "where is Good Charlotte?", well.. I can tell you GC is right here, as it has always been. GC hasn't gone anywhere.
I know this album might sound a lot different from what GC has done all these years, but I think that's the whole point of this record. To make something different, to have fun and to prove that GC can play any kind of music.
Yeah, I gotta be honest, I was pretty shocked when I heard the remix version of Hold On for the first time. I think Hold On is one of THE best songs ever, and it is really meaningful for me. But you know what? Having a remix version won't make the song meaningless. What I'm trying to say is that changing the old songs won't make them different from what they were before. Hold On is still going to be my fav song, nothing will ever change that. You're the one who gives the song the meaning, not the song itself.
Adding some more instruments and changing how they sound shouldn't make you change the meaning you used to give to that songs. And you can always go and listen to the original ones! :)

And for those who say that GC "has changed". Hmmm, I wouldn't say they "have changed", but "evolved". Music changes, people change, fans change. That's what this is about. Music has to evolve, otherwise it would be quite boring.

I've been a fan for many years, and yeah, The Young and the Hopeless changed my life. I know lots of fans want that sound back - I include myself - but I think it's time to move on. Of course, we all love Hold On, Wondering, Riot Girl, but GC has much more to offer. Like I said before, we gotta move on.
Music needs to move on. Bands can't go and repeat what they've done before, or they would be repeating themselves.
That's what I love of GC. They always have something new to add to their sound, and you never really know what they are going to come up with, but you still KNOW you're gonna love whatever they make (at least in my case).
Before I listened to the medley, I KNEW I was going to love this remix album, although that's not what they usually do.
That's what I call a good band.

There's no "old GC", and there's no "new GC". It has always been GOOD CHARLOTTE. The same amazing guys from Maryland.

So.. let's give GC a chance, come on!

Love the Greatest Remixes album.

Guys, remember we love you. And remember that the GC Fam will always be here to support you!.
WE LOVE YOU.

I like it but lets just say I'm not crazy about it. I would've rather had the 5th CD come out first rather then this. But the remixes aren't bad , I actually like a few of them and will buy the CD. what can I say? im a die hard GC fan

ew remixes are absolutely brilliant!
Few songs are...remixed in weird way, like where would we be now, it's such a nice song, I 'feel' it, but in remix it just gets lost.
I L.O.V.E. Boys&Girls, Young and the hopless. The Anthem, All Black, DFA, I just wanna live, Predictable. These are the ones I remember from Medley. There were few other good ones, I'm not really excited about remix or two.

Interesting :P

BTW...War is great! So catchy, already stuck in my head! That's GC!!! :D
ahh, great job!
