A poem I wrote a few years ago

My life has been a battle. I life with no end. What’s coming next. In this world of disappointment. A creation of doubt. No bottom to the pit. I free fall the whole way down. Down to what I hope is the end. What is this place. Why are we here. Do we have a purpose. Is life a dream we have. or is it a nightmare we live through. What is heaven. Is there a hell. Why are there so many things that confuse us in this world. The confusion we have. The questions we ask. There is never an answer. It’s like we live in a place. A place surrounded by water. The only way to escape. Is to swim. But there is no safe place. So we drown in our dreams. There is hope for some. But none for others. We wonder. About what we are to become. There is no telling. What the future has to bring. We never know. What we are. Just know what we aren't. It makes no cense. But it’s the truth. Life is a puzzle. Not worth putting together. Live life. Don’t try to put the pieces together.
Before you know it. Life is gone.
