Rest In Peace Adrian E. Masalko
A very very good friend of mine lost his battle to cancer on March 11 2007. Over 18 months, it had spread from his bones to his lungs anc his back. He was a fighter, and was an amazing human being and thats how we all like to remember him by. So live everyday like its your last.
KERNERSVILLE - Adrian Edward Masalko, 17, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born Sept. 7, 1989, in Forsyth County to Barbara Masalko and Timothy Wilson. Adrian was a student at Glenn High School. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Nancy Rexrode; a stepmother, Karen Wilson; a sister and brother, Bridget and Craig Wilson; their mother, Annetta Cockman; stepbrother, Kenneth Peddycord; grandparents, Sue and Russell Weiss, and numerous and loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Brenda Sell and the Rev. Robert Coon officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at the funeral home. The family requests that memorials be directed to Brenner Children's Hospital, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
