An Evening with The Flaming Lips.....

This is one of those songs I wish i wrote."Do you realize?" What a great band. Wanted to take a second out and say what's up and turn you guys on to the Flaming lips....here is another video from the same record they put out a few years ago...it's a good one..."Yoshimi battles the pink robots part 1" i listen to these guys a lot when I'm traveling...

these guys formed in 1983 in Oklahoma city(shout out to the All American Rejects)and put out there 1st record in 1985. I'm pretty sure this was their 1st big hit, I remember loving this song when they played on HFS(our local alternative station)"she don't us jelly"

and they just kept getting better amd better in my opinion. In '99 they put out "the soft bulletin" and this was my fav track off that record. It's called "buggin" sorry this the only video i could find for it.... ummm yeah just uh...just close your eyes and enjoy the music..yeah..do that....

and finally one of the more recent Flaming Lips records..."At War with the Mystics" was released in 06' I'm pretty sure that's like 11 records they have done so far....here is "the yeah yeah yeah song"

cool video, i like verses of this song a lot. So there you have the Flaming Lips. I met Wayne the singer in London once and he was really nice too. It was like 4 years ago. I wish i would have got a pic for the BLOG!!! Damn, next time next time. ok hope you enjoyed the Flaming Lips...you know in 2 years, i think it will be 25 years for them, and they will be eligible for the rock &Roll hall of fame. But it is a beautiful song and The Flaming Lips are a great band!
