Today i'm sitting here wondering why people are so selfish. It seems to me that though we seem to be at the top of the food chain, our actions say otherwise. why is it that big celebrities like tom cruise or john travolta, or billionairs all over the world, can't aide third world countries? It doesn't make sense and it most certainly doesn't show the rest of the human race that we care. i'm not just talking about america, because i'll be the first to admit that we don't know everything. sure our way of life seems to have the most upsides. but we too have poor people, homeless people, and those corrupted by bad parenting and television (im talking about murderers here folks...lol). It doesn't seem like we are even giving ourselves a chance to succeed in life. Everyone feels selfish sometime, that just part of being human. but how many of you could give up your cell phone and use that money to buy the homeless guy on the corner lunch (not every homeless person wants alcohol or drugs ya know!). and could you imagine how much money you would save if you quit smoking cigarettes?? Add it up sometime and i can guarentee that you will be blown away. even if you are totally selfless (no one is. this part is for those who think they are doing everything they can when in actuality they can do more), there is still plenty more to give. but don't be fooled by the charities. or those government agencies specifically designed to aide the less fortunate (fema anyone?). so what i'm basically trying to say is, do your part. if everyone did something nice every day, think of the world we'd be living in. SPUNKY XD
