Benjamin Levi Madden, and Benji, is guitarist and vocalist of the band Good Charlotte, was born on March 11, 1979, in Waldorf, Maryland, USA.
was usually the target of jokes of the players in college football (which is mentioned in the song Little Things, self titled album). In 1995, Joel and he was the first show of their lives: Beastie Boys. They were so fascinated that, two weeks later, the formed Good Charlotte with Paul Thomas and Aaron, his friends from high school. Benji is a self-taught guitarist, or learned to play without the help of teachers, and even thought that he and Joel had invented a chord. Later, Billy Martin joined them on guitar.
Benji and Joel have their own line of clothing, the "Made Clothing" and also a new brand called "DCMA Collective."
They also work as music producers using the name Dead Executives. Presented by some years, alongside his brother Joel, the program "All Things Rock" on MTV the U.S., where they showed clips, made comments and interviews with the bands.
Very religious, which was always the mother's influence, and has several tattoos with this. (approximately 30% of the skin).
Life
Benji dated 2006 to January 2008 the Australian singer and actress Sophie Monk.
He was boyfriend of Paris Hilton. They were together since February 2008, but ends on November 22, 2008. Although Benji is saddened by the situation, his brother Joel Madden says that all is well with him.
Today, Benji is single.
