whats an emo???

hey guys... can you tell me what an 'emo' is?? if your wondering why im asking this when my name is emo kid its because so many people come up to me and say 'hey do you slit your wrists' or 'why do you keep failing at suicide?' so i guess slitting your wrists n enjoying pain is societys view on emo??? but whats your opinion on the emos???

Personally, I don't like pitting a label on myself. I think it's dumb cause were all different people and we should just be who we are and not just dress, act or talk a certain way because you think you have to be "emo" or "preppy" or whatever. People are people stereotypes are just f****** stupid
