What the f*** is with Devil's Advocate?
He's spamming goodcharlotte.com saying there s***.
How do you get rid of him?

There is one person on the forums with mod privilages, and all she can do is delete.

I've been bumping othr topics up so that no spammrs are on the main page. Which is all I can do. Most other people look in, see the mess and leave.

Poor Steph, she can't do it all on her own

why they don't give Steph ability to ban people? I mean.. she's here all the time and I think as a admin of this forum she should get this oppurinity...

The issue is the can't just hand anyone ban privilages, thats completely different than thread deletions.
I mean the banning is a very easy thing to mis-use.
Not that anyone would mis-use it.
But it CAN make more problems than it solves.

I personally think they need to put a post limit, so that people can only start so many threads in say an hour.

I'm doing everything in my power. I can't do much.

As of last night I personally emailed GC's mgmt and the names of these people. He told me that he can delete the users, and if the users are deleted then the msgs should go away. However, haven't seen any deletions of these msgs.

It's hard to do things if even GC's mgmt doesn't really know how the site works. All I can say is that I'm trying. If that's not enough, let's make a msg board of our own to post on.

Not trying to sound high and mighty, but at this rate they should just give me the whole site to look after.

Poor you.
It sucks being left to try and manage a site, which whoever manages the site has very little knowledge or care for how its run.

I feel for you, cause you are the only person anyone can physically see who's able to do anything.

I'm sorry guys, I mean, I'm trying to do my job but I feel like I shouldn't have to physically delete each msg one by one if GC's mgmt doesn't give a damn. I did everything within my power, and I'm sorry that it's not enough. I want this site to be taken seriously but it's hard when nobody wants to step up and deal with it.
