This board needs a moderator

Someone needs to be able to give warnings and kick out spammers.
this site is getting full of it. I have contacted admin to try and get the regulars more power and to decide a mod.

We are powerless, and all we can do is be blunt, and hope they offenmder gets the message and leaves. Someone should be able to kick, and most active members get to vote on who should be mod.

I know this sounds petty, but i can't stand the kids who post the same thing under every topic.

I'm going to get this sorted, cause this forum is not monitered at all

I'd like to be for two reasons

1. its good for the ego
2. it amuses me that someone who came to the site to make fun of Good Charlotte becomes a moderator for the forum.

But in reality, my posting days here are mostly done. I came on a lot when I was at university... because stuffing about on the Internet takes priority to actual assignments. I still came on here once I started working, because with a 38 hour a week job you still have plenty of downtime. But the past 2 years I work about 60 hours every week, so I have been scarce, and uninteresting. And as a meeting I just came from seemed to go quite well, it looks like I could be owning a new business as early as next week.

Bye bye free internet time. how depressing.

Congrads to you. :) Good luck on your new business. Well hopefully you will come back on occassion to see how the board is going. :) Perhaps you could advise us on how someone could become a mod. :) Your expertise in these matters would help someone who wishes to become a mod here. :)

Ah man I do remember those nights at the older message board where there would be a bunch of spammers posting porn and then the board would crash and we couldn't get rid of any of it haha

As for the spam, that much I can probably safely confirm is Ning-wide.... I have my hands full moderating the Linkin Park site..... I do feel sorry for all you guys. Hope y'all can get a few mods soon :) [trust me, you'll probably need at least 3-5 mods to deal with all the crap]
