At Shamrockfest!! Im so excited! lol. Ivve been waiting for this day!
Right now we are in Maryland I believe, im not sure which part but there's a lot of open space and water rivers and its beautifullll :]
I can't wait to post pics =)
Omg! Tell me about it! It was badd. Well atleast it happened then, and not...before! We would've been sittin there like helpless cause we don't wanna lose out place in the lines.... soaked... pourring! Aha.
And yeah, my mom was wearing flip flops that day too....... imagine if shed lost it because of the crazinesss...wed be walking around like lolz..... omg we actually had a laugh thinkin that like a month ago :)
She said that if people weren't so pushy and loud she would've had a better time than she actually did! She said it was kinda loud in there she couldn't hear them like talking, and I was like, what are youu talking about??? Haha!
That crowd was a bunch of dipshits. We were in the very very very front of the line, some of my friends waited overnight to get front row AND BLG FANCLUB PPL GOT IN FIRST and there was like 30 of them and this one guy in front of me just said that he wasn't there for anybody and he was front row. D***.
If you're ever front row just be prepared for the crush, when people push forward trying to get as close as possible. I'm happy yet sad that Joel doesn't come down into the crowd anymore, happy because he's free reign to grab at him but bad news when people decide to kill you for a touch :/
And you can breathe clean air sort of AND it's like they are playing just for you even though there's millions of people behind you.
It was the best, one night Paul f***** up and I shook my head and he shrugged his shoulders and made a face like "oops" and I f****** died. You miss that stuff!
Oh and if you're in the front you're more than likely to get setlists and picks and stuff at the end. Drumsticks are the hardest to get because Deano just throws them everywhere.
LOL, in Lowell Mass last summer I made it to the front and hung on to the barricade with all my might. People were pushing and shoving and I got so crushed my shirt rode up until my bra was showing but I never let go for anything. It was so worth it though. Then my daughter and her friends (who I got separated from before the show) met me outside and we tried to get out behind the venue but the security was telling us to go back. My daughter's friend's brother was fooling around in the road that led back behind the venue. We saw headlights and told him to move out of the way. We were all standing there, in the pouring rain, and we saw Benji and Joel pass us in a black SUV. I was like, "Hunter, you should have laid down in the road!!" LOL
Steph, I believe the gc roseland show, .....joel went to the crowd for The young and hopeless performance.... I remember since I seen that vid on youtube frm another person...from that show. Oh well...
Yeah, front row looks like the best times are up there. Id say, go for it! That's if your confident that you will actually live through the show! Haha! Its deff. not worth my life! I don't understand how ppl live through that! Its the wild! lol. I remember security pulling out all these people from the pit cause they got injured. Many people. If you fall......forget it.
As I was looking from the side of the stage to the front...or even behind me... thousands of people... all pushing, jumping, and....its like waves of people.... crazy, crazy. Id love to go up front.... but im too scared. Haha. I was already up there actually, before the show started, and that was nuts. roseland is.
I'm not usually scared as I am a big girl. But, for petite girls, it could get pretty scary I suppose. Unless they are right up front they wouldn't be able to see over anyone's heads anyway and it would be horrible. They wouldn't be able to breathe with all the body heat and stuff. I went to see MCR with my daughter and her tiny little friend once and we were in the crowd up front. She couldn't see see over people's heads or anything and she was really uncomfortable so we went and found some seats on the side of the venue. Plus she wore flip flops!! I was like WTF!!!
Haha! Paul is great. :) I love being up front. Its the best place. Its fun watching them. :) I loved my water from that one guy. I was soo thirsty! And I was NOT flirting with him, Steph! :) haha! He could have been my kid! ;)
Yeah, Steph! Ill stay with you next time! LOLL. Oh wow, mcr... I can only imagine how their crowds are! Ha. And yeah, same, my mom wore flipflops to the gc show we were in... I was like whoah. Be lucky if you have them on by the end! Good thing she did. hahaha. At the sixflags show though, it was like a totally different band! There were almost no craziness! I remember this guy tryna start a mosh or something and security was kicking him out. At the end of the song I guess Benji and Joel were paying attention and they were like, "hey! Let him stay! He's just tryna have a good time!" and as the kid was leaving everybody was like, "let him in!" it was so funny.
