Hahhaa! It was a GREAT time! They stole the show for DJ I think! (After it all 2 diff groups of ppl were lke ,do u know where flogging molly is playing and I was like sry, I don't I never even heard of them! They were both like WTF?!ahha!)
For traveling 7 hours on a train, we were only in the fest for about a little over 2 hours....... it was like a carnival but there were celebs there and ppl in green. ONLY DIFFERENCE. I rly don't see the anticipation for it.....)
Benji and Joel, neither of them didn't say 1 word while on stage. I wish they could've said SOMETHING! I mean, they was like singing along with the music but u couldn't hear them. It was funny to watch. Kinda like they were their songs...hahaha I even got it on Video!!
I was wearin my dcma shirt, when they first came on the stage, my momand I were like whoooooo! Haha! I was like pointin to my shirt(we were frnt row!!!!) and joel looked and smiled! =) it made me happy...a few mins later I actually got embarrassed because it seemed like he was like staring at me for quite awhile while I was singing! Like 2 or 3 diff times in just a few mins I was like lookin at him too but soon had to look away.... I kinda thought I was imagining it but I know it dont mean nothing ahhahaa it was just odd.
At the end, joel left! Benji stayed on for like 5 mins later with Junior Sanchez and we ran over by the gate, once we cecked by the stage benj was gone lol. We went behind the stage when security wasn't lookin and these girls were like, oh we were VIPS so we took pics with them and their sitttin in a car now... they showed us "the car" andd we walked there which was only a limo driver waiting on jr sanchez...... hahaha. He actually said he dropped benji off at the airport already nd he was going to a gig tonight in NYC and joel was driving to Atlantic City (nj) for a gig..... we believed him that they were gone and Jr. Sanchez would be done in like a half hour but my mother hd to go to the bathroom & I was freezing(rainy, texting..gettin screen wet...) I was like a popsicle. Haha. I barely know Jr. So we just went to go eat. So we ask this dude sellin shirts where the nearest airport is and were like, what, 10 mins? And the guys like, no way! At least 40 mins! So that's when we realized the limo driver had lied....... haha! Benji was JUST on the stage not too long ago at all! Impossible he could've brought him to an airport and back in that lot waiting on Jr. Just a few mins later! Haha! So we didn't meet them, but if we would've left the crowd before then it may have been possible. This trip cost me like $500 or more haha which I cnt afford, but it was SO worth it! They did such a great job and they were looking so hawttt. LOL. (Right now im on the train back home, sry bout the long blog here......im just bored! Hahh!)

Oo and another funny thing, at the very end when it was just benji there was this bald guy(a little heavy idk if he works with them..) Right by him and he seen I was enjoying myself and that I was a fan like all the rest seemed like drunk kids........
Idk but he like says something to benji and points at me and im like wtf lmao
And benji looks at me and smiled =) I guess he seen the dcma shirt or something...that's alll that I can think of! But it made me so happy! I was like omgggggg something just happened!!!! Ha!

I knew that guard lied. They always do, don't listen to them. They just want to tell you that and make you believe that so it makes their job easier.

Oh lord, "The stare" sooo it wasn't just mee! Haa. Makes me feel a little better. Cause it was just weird when I noticed him like staring at me without looking away not once. I could never do that! Aha. Even thou it was my freaking celeb crush joel madden!! :p
And yeahh, I messaged junior about it and he was like, thanks for reppin! We had a gr8 time! He's such a nice dude! And talented.
So yeah, with the new joel blog and etc... I guess the security guard never lied! The pics were on gcstate and one of with him outside of his limo car with benj n joel going to it with this girl.......
I just don't get how they got away so quickly, seemed impossible to me....
And yeah, I remeber tons aboutt it! After the show we went to this convinence shop in the train station nd I wasn't feeling well AT ALL I had a killer headache n I felt really weak in the knees I bought an OJ and I spilt it all over the counter cause I shook it without the top on it :0 something weird was happening....... haha. And I didn't even drink alcohol! Maybe it was just the jumping around...
I took quite a few pics on my cell which I will see that I can upload em now even thou they didn't come out good at all kinda blurry... on my digital camera I have like 4 diff. Videos haha and more pics their really HQ and niicee. Ooh yeah, and they played some of their Greatest remixes... which was funnnn... the anthem, keep yourr hands off my girl, dance floor anthem(original) and they opened the show with Misery. Haha:]

Wow, I wish I could have been there, and Steph is right, the security is always lying about where they are etc. I would have been really nervous about Joel staring at me. That happened at that acoustic show that Benji and Joel did at the Apple Store in Montreal last summer. I was up against the little stage they had (it was really intimate, like 100 people) and the guys were asking us what songs we wanted them to play. I kept saying "play I just wanna live" and then Joel looked right at me and said "Emotionless?" I actually looked around me to see if he was talking to someone else. I couldn't imagine how he thought I was saying Emotionless. He kept staring at me and then asked again, "did you ask for emotionless? I looked at my daughter and said, "is he talking to me??" She was like "just go with it mom." So I told him yes. In the mean time all the people around us were looking at me like I was retarded or something. Then he kept looking at me off and on during the rest of the show. God knows what he was thinking. yikes. I don't think he remembered me because when I talked to him in Providence the following week he didn't say anything.

Awe! :) I love Joel! And sometimes I think its because Joel wears contacts. At the last show in DC, Joel sang with me..or should I say I sang with him!! :) haha! I loved it. :P lol

that is true, isn't it? I forget he needs glasses. I was just so nervous because ever time I looked at him, he was looking at me it seemed. I was afraid he was staring at my hair to tell you the truth. I have very thick,curly hair and although I straighten it, it was hot and humid that day and it got really huge!!!!! Plus it is red. I felt like Bozo the clown. LOL.
