preteen and teen love

do you think its WRONG and MESSED UP for a 11 year old and 16 year old to be in love? one is nearly and adult and ones a kid

5 years is not that big if these two people are grown ups or at the same level. But 11 and 16 is time when you grow up, so yeah, it's wrong and messed up for me.

I don't think its safe both mentally or physically for them to be sexually active at this time, especially that eleven year old. Their bodies need time to mature. I've read that cervical cancer is prominent in girls who have had sex at an early age as aposed to those tho wait till their systems can handle it. Perhaps if this couple was older it wouldn't be so much of an age stretch. I know that a lot of males start earlier then girls...but that still doesn't mean that they are ready to handle a relationship. I wouldn't say its messed up so much as I would say that I wonder where the parent or parents, older siblings, or SOMEBODY, of this eleven year old. Some serious talking is in order. Another thing..the sixteen year old could be held accountable by the law in regards to statatory rape of a minor. All the parents have to do is get a good lawyer..no matter what the eleven year old wants.

the 16 year old is not mature enough to be the lead partner in such a scenario. If the 11 year old HAS to be dating someone, then that person should at the very least be 28 years of age.

Honestly the thought of and 11 year old going out with someone older freaks me out, my sister is 11.
16 is still too young to be tried as an adult, so is still considered a child.

depends if its trough love. trough love is unconditional, trough love cant c a presons face or thar culture or thayr age... age is just a # 2 trough love, trough love dosnt care.nuthing matters w/ trough love except whats n that presons heart & mind. & (not meening 2 sound like a bibble thumper & i dont want 2 offend eneyone, this is just my belef) trough love is y god sent hes only sone 2 earth, & it was trough love that held Christ 2 the cross, not the nails.
P.S. trough love dose not require sex, ever, unless marryed!!!

ummm i dont think its messed up if their happy then they should b let do what ever it is that makes them happy but i dont think that an 11yr old knows what love is...? my boyfriend is 21 and we are so happy together and we love eachother so much and theres a 6yr gap between us???but i think that 11 is a bit young to be in a relaationship but hey thats jus my opinion....??

I think that it all really depends. If you's are really in love, personally i dont see why it couldnt work. I mean, if you's love each other...thats all that matters, right? I dont think that age should stop people from being attracted to each other.
