Joel has me so worried about his safety.

He's going over to Africa to the Congo region and I'm afraid for him. There is a lot of unrest there and I'm just so worried about him. I won't rest easy till Joel is back with his family.

I know that there is pictures about him at LAX but I´m not sure if he went to Africa...probably he did.I´m so worried about him, I even couldn´t sleep very well at night.I´m really concerned about him, I can´t even think about anything else.I hope he comes back soon, and it won´t happen anything about him too!I´d be so happy if he would blog while beeing there or smth, and say that he is okay!:(

I remember when Sum41 went to Congo. They aired it on Much Music and it was definately harsh. The first few days they were there everything went great. They went to a couple orphanages and hung out with the kids. And then the one night they were there, a war actually broke out. There was shooting on the streets right outside their hotel. But nothing happened to them. Everyone was scared shitless but the UN was there, and knew what to do and how to get everyone out safely. I'm sure it'll be the same with Joel. It's not like Joel's going to go there completely unprepared and by himself. I'm sure they've already thought about the worst that could happen and how to get out of the situation.
I've actually wanted to go to Congo for a couple years now. I think it would be great to go to the orphanages and just..hang out with the kids. And I want to go to the Gorilla Orphanage they have there.
