I dont like it when Joel & Benji are referred to as "Good Charlotte"
Benji and Joel are a part of GC, but they are not the whole band, there are 3 other VERY important members. You know....In most interviews with these two or even when they're seperate, the interviewer will be like "I'm here with Good Charlotte" Noooooooo. How about "I'm here with Joel and Benji from Good Charlotte"? That sounds a lot more sensible. When you say that two people in the band are the band itself, where does that leave the other members? I mean, no hate towards Benji and Joel, cuz you gotta love them, but what about Paul, Deano, and Billy? Sure, whatever, they're just saying what they're told to say probably..but is someone really gonna kill them if they say "from Good Charlotte?"
I don't know. It's not that big of a deal, just a thought ;)

I completely agree. I mean. I love Benji and Joel to death. But Billy, Paul and Deano are vital to GC. Without them the band would not exist. And at shows I think the other guys need to do some talking as well

It doesn't help that Joel has dated Hilary Duff and is now with Nicole. And Benji dated you know who (kinda like Voltomore in the Harry Potter movies, someone so horrible we never mention her name LOL)
It seems like once someone is connected to the Hollywood elite, they are subjects for the Paparazzi from then on.
Last summer a bunch of us had been talking to Joel behind the venue after one of the shows and as I was leaving, a young couple who happened to be walking down the sidewalk, asked me who he was. When I told them Joel Madden from Good Charlotte they looked clueless but when I said he was Nicole Richie's boyfriend they got all excited. It was so lame.

Hmph. I hate when people call(ed) them "nicole richie's boyfriend" or even worse "paris hilton's boy toy" Seriously..wtf. They aren't anyone's anything. They are people, and they should be known for THEIR accomplishments, not whoever their girlfriends may be. I'm not hating on the lovers..but yea.

It bothers me too when I hear that said. I am positive that Joel and Benji feel the same way as we do. Its like people forget about Billy, Paul, and Deano. Can't forget these talented guys! Without them there would be no GC..the way GC was meant to be. :) I call them The Magnificent Men of Good Charlotte. I think a lot of this is because Joel and Benji are the spokesmen for the group and they are very charismatic..and also the fact that they are more in the 'limelight'. But Hey...we GC fans love them all! DON'T WEEE??! HMMM? :D I do!

Look at Paul's cute smile on this pic. :) He has a great smile. :) I love Deano's laugh! And Billy is just awesome. Benji and Joel..are adorable. :D Don't blame the Benj and Joel. 'They all are the same. Human in all their ways and all their pain'.. :)

You know the first thing I noticed about this pic is that only Benj and Joel have the microphones. That's what I'm talking about. I love the twins to death. But the other guys need to be recognized too. I love them just as much!

Maybe and I might be wrong on this..but maybe the other guys don't like to do the talking. If you ever notice when they interview other bands..there is always the spokesmen of the group. Perhaps Paul, Deano, and Billy prefer to not do the talking. Perhaps its decided on who is going to do the talking for the group way in advance. Joel and Benji ARE more comfortable in front of the mics so it seems. The topic of this discussion is why they refer to just Joel and Benji as GC. :D They are NOT GC without the other guys! They are the Maddens! :D :D :D
