How would you describe Good Charlotte?

Im doing a project for english and i need yall opinion on how is GC punk? how do they make it their own? do yo agree with that label or would you catagorie them in a whole different genre and why? would you compare them to older punk bands like the sex pistols?

yeah...i saw this type of thread many times. i guess GC inspires us a lot even in our study :D

i shall give u the ideas then

for me, GC is not totally "Punk", maybe it was just how they dress (in 2000 until young n hopeless album) because their images changed right after chronicles of life and death album

i would rather categorize good charlotte in different genre like perhaps rock n roll (i know benji likes it), pop song (less fav because sounds like backstreetboy to me) but as for me i prefer they be categorized according to their albums

Good Charlotte , Young and Hopeless = Punk Rock song (mostly said)

Chronicles of life and death = Emotional song, dark etc

Good Morning Revival & Cardiology = Happy song, motivational, rock, beat etc

just 2 cents of my opinion :D
