i've heard about a 85-years woman who just loved Metallica. There was a big fuss about it and Metallica did heard about it and they invated this lady backstage. Crowd was so supportive to her:D That's amazing:)

And I do agree whit everyone here - being a fan has no age limits.
Well im 31 and not about to cease being a fan because of age!! i didnt give a rats that i felt like a 'fossil' at the accoustic gig!! i was not giving up my place for the world!!
I think any age i will like gc till the day i die so any age i think
Hey... i was at the acoustic gig too... and just when i thought i was going to be the oldest person there, i saw older people there, enjoying the gig like the rest of us... that night was awesome!
I just turned 55 yesterday, Nov. 15th!! :D And I'm a devoted GC fan and I love them. Anyone who has a problem with someone's age..regardless if they are young or old (like me!)..they have issues and misconceptions about age. Music has no limits. Some people definately ARE judgemental about someone my age loving GC..but I pay them no mind. Because I refuse to let anyone dictate what I should be doing with my life. Its mine. I shall conduct my life in the way I want to. If that means I get on here and talk about GC and look at them and listen to their music and ENJOY IT..well I'm just enjoying life! :D I'll be a loyal GC fan 'till the day that I die'! :) And when I finally kick the bucket..I want GC music played at my funeral. Some people think that I 'want the guys'. I have read where someone wrote I was stalking them. HAHA! PULLLEASE. I am energetic in my comments and replies to them. :D I love them. :) But I am old enough to be their momma! :D My son is Benji and Joel's age! HAHA! Thats not to say I don't find the guys handsome. I do. :) But I love them because of their music and I love them becausE they are sweet, nice men...and they have made me feel welcome as a fan. :) I say you are never too old or too young. Live life like you don't have tomorrow..because your not promised anything but the day you've been given. :)
I remember when some teenaged girls at a GC show last year harassed me. They were very nasty and catty and said I was too old to be at the show. I wasn't the one b******* that I was hot and crowded and my hair was messed up. LOL
that's HILARIOUS! we all know that you dont have to be loud and beautiful to be noticed... Well done on having a great time and sticking to your guns! GO GIRL...
I think those girls were just jealous. :) And let me state..for the record...I can stand in line and sweat and get hungry..and keep standing longer then any of the younger gals..thankuveramuch. When I went to Tower Records in Rockville, Maryland, I took my daughter and her friend. They were in highschool. They got to sit down, got food, etc., while I just stood in the line and starved and got sore feet. :D They even said they wanted to go home. I told them if they wanted to leave call a taxi cause I wasn't budging. Later they thanked me cause we got in and got to get meet GC. :D lol Worth the sore feet and the hunger. :D lol
You're never too old. I'm only 18, but my mum told me I can't go to GC gigs without her! She loves stuff like GC and especially loves Rancid haha. I intend to carry on going to gigs until I die, so yeah, never too old!
You sound so cool!
My mum likes GC but she wouldn't do the whole standing in line waiting for hours thing.
Kudos to you!
God Bless! That's what I love to see - LOYALTY and CONSISTANCEY!
I want to to have your attitude when I have kids of my own... YOU ROCK x
Thanx. I will stand in line for GC and starve for them. :D lol I actually go to the shows by myself. Most of the GC fans are so awesome. :)
