Good Charlotte

My daughter got me to buy her the GC remix cd yesterday. I like it...parts of it...most of it. My mom actually liked it too which is cool I guess considering she was a big fan until they came out with I just wanna live which she really didn't like and then everything after that was blah, which for the most part I agreed with.

LA world wide is hilarious, it's like yes we're rich and we have no street cred and we don't remember what it's like to be broke and we're alright with that...mom gives them props for admitting that. lol

I just wish their next cd has more intelligent lyrical substance, not about they're relationship issues like every other crap pop band out there...from what I've heard of it though I'm not holding my breath on that one:(

Supposedly they had really good influences in the beginning what the hell happened???

so much for complaments lol

The remix album was meant more for them to let other musicians and artists do their own versions of GC songs. The story goes that their record label wanted GC to put out a Greatest Hits, but GC didn't feel they were an old enough band to come out with a Greatest Hits so they did a "Greatest Remixes" instead.

And LA Worldwide is a song based off their song Waldorf Worldwide from their first record. It's basically the same idea that song was, but all their dreams have come true. It's one of my faves from the remix cd along with Anxiety and the Girls and Boys Remix ;)
