Mark was funny. Before I got to meet them at Sonar, he came out where I was waiting at the front and I said I hope you didn't forget about me! :D haha! He patted me on the back and said he didn't forget! :D lol He's a very pleasant person. :)

Unfortunatly, I've never actually met GC..But I really hope i do one day. They mean the world to me, so just meeting them in person would be amazing (:
You seem like you had fun hanging out with them..I'm glad :D
it make me smile when you said you gave Benji two hugs..since he's not really much of a hugger X)

I love to hear your stories too. And I love to share mine. I believe I've talked about each of my GC encounters on here at one time or another but my favorite has to be from their 2008 summer tour. That year I saw them five times. In Atlantic City, twice in Montreal( one was the acoustic show that was recently released by Itunes) Lowell Massachusetts and last of all Providence Rhode Island. Although I tried to meet the guys at each of those shows, I wasn't successful until Providence. My daughter and I first saw Paul walking down the sidewalk, across from the club they were going to play at. I ran across the street and got a couple of pictures with him. Then I decided to take a walk around the venue. I ran into Deano all by himself on the side street and got a picture with him. Then I saw Billy and Linzi in the alley behind the club. I asked Billy if I could get a picture with him but he said, "not right now, okay?" I didn't mind so much that he had declined but the roadies who were standing around were all glaring at me. At that moment I wished I could have crawled under something.
But, I soon forgot about it because I saw Joel and Nicole walking by with Harlow in her stroller. I was going to follow them but decided against it. I figured it would be terribly rude. Here they were away from all the photographers they had to put up with back home and enjoying a nice summer day with their baby. I told myself I'd come back after they played to see if I could run into them again.
So, after their performance, I walked back to where the buses were parked behind the venue. I was alone because my daughter had met a bunch of girls who were following The Maine on that tour. She was with them, waiting for that band to come out. There were a bunch of other GC fans standing around too. Not too long after that, my daughter came back. She had autographs from the Maine. She was really excited. One girl noticed someone sitting behind a dumpster behind GC's bus. It was really dark back there. The person was smoking a cigerette as we could see the glowing tip of it. They were crouching down, trying not to be noticed. "That's Joel, I know it is" the girl said. Then she started calling to him. A minute later he gave up trying to hide and came out where we were to talk to us. I got a couple of pictures with him. He was going over to DJ at a club not far from the venue. It was kind of an "End of tour" party. Any one could have gone. The only thing is, my husband was waiting at the Hilton for us and wouldn't have been too happy if I went alone and my daughter was too young to get in. I told Joel this and he was like "ah, that's too bad." He asked how old my daughter was and when she said,"I'm 14," he couldn't get over it. She is taller than I am and could pass for 18 no problem. He told me to sneak her in. We all laughed. then I told him how beautiful Harlow was and he thanked me. He said he had to get ready to go over. So, he got on the bus. As I was walking around the corner of the building, a couple who happened to be walking by asked me who he was. I told them that it was Joel Madden, the lead singer of Good Charlotte and that they had played there that night. The girl didn't know who GC was but her boyfriend did. Then I said" He is the father of Nicole Richie's baby." The girl was like "oh, okay."
Right around the corner of the building we ran into Benji. He was standing there, talking to some fans.(Paris wasn't with him that night so he was out and about, meeting people. It was nice.) I got a picture with him as well.
I told him I'd just talked to his brother around the corner and he was like "oh, good." Then we saw Joel and Nicole, arm in arm, walking to the club so Joel could DJ. Nicole was very casually dressed in jeans, sneakers and a Good Charlotte hoodie. We said hello and she said hello back. She is a very cute girl. So petite.
So, that was my favorite GC encounter that day. Although Billy kind of blew me off, I've talked to him on other occasions and gotten pictures with him so I wasn't too upset.
I love this band so much. I love their music, and I love them. I can't wait for the next tour.!!

Here are the pictures I got that day. Keep in mind the pics of me with Paul and Deano were before the show and the pics of me with Joel and Benji were after the show. I was hot,tired, my hair was twacked out and all of my makeup had melted off. I looked lovely.
And the one of me and Joel is terrible. LOL
