Funny Good Charlotte stories?

I have a few...

The first one being that... when i first met Joely this summer, i asked if i could take a picture with him and he jokingly responded, "well yeah, get your butt over here." so that was cute and then my sister went to take the picture of us with our friends camera so she was unfamiliar with it. And i stood there posing for like 5 minutes with Joel waiting for the camera to work and finally he was like... "dude... hold it down!" and then she held the button down and it finally worked. But joel and i were both annoyed so in the picture i have this awful fake smile and joel just looks pissed. but he was so patient with us! i love him for that.

A couple minutes later as we were leaving joel and i hugged goodbye but as i was moving out of the hug i accidently like sliced his neck with this cd i was holding. he walked away like holding his neck i felt like such a fool!... but maybe he will always remember me for it :D

He was so nice through the whole thing i love him to death. To this day it will hit me randomly in class that i met my idol and i have literally squeeled in class just thinking about it and had everyone stare at me. I feel so incredibly lucky to have met him.

no, i don't have 1, but once i celebrated my birthday with family and i didn't know at the time that GC was doing a show somehow else in the city.

When I was 13 I went to the GC show in Vancouver. At some point I was looking at the ground because I bumped into something and then Joel through his water bottle into the crowd and because I wasn't looking it pegged me in the face. I had this massive bruise on my cheek for about a week.

I've only met them once their australian tour back in October 2007 and I met everyone except Paul because he'd hurt his foot/ankle earlier in the tour... so there was no way he could have gotten up the stairs

Anyway I found myself at their meet and greet because my sister kindly gave me her meet and greet spot knowing it was only fair since I was the one who introduced her to the band etc

Billy came out first and I was all kinda shy and quiet like I can't believe this is happening and I had my copy of GMR for them to sign in one hand and my ticket in the other and Billy was cool he said "Ï'll sign your ticket too, now don't let them take your ticket away from you" and we were only meant to get one item signed... and he thanked me for buying the cd and I said "It's cool, I like your music" of course I did lol and he moved along the queue

Benji came out my favourite so I'm surprised he was the one who caught me at my most normal... anyway he signed my stuff and thanked me for wearing their clothing and for representing the band... aww and I took that as my cue to say I'd been a fan since the young and the hopeless and he did that thing where they hold up both hands and pretend to shoot you and went to move on to the next person in the queue and it occured to me everyone else had hugged him so I asked for a hug and he hugged me, I often say he gives the best hugs and moved along...

Next was Joel and by now I'm realising this is all really happening and when I'm really nervous I'm a motor mouth so Joel comes up and says "How are you?" and I just blurt out "I'm good, I got a new job I'm not working at Hungry Jacks anymore I got a job at a cd store" and I realise we're looking into each others eyes and talking nonsence lol so I asked for a hug, he hugged me and he moved along and to this day my friends randomly say to me "I got a new job" but I can't believe I met a member of my favourite band and that's what I said to him haha

Then Dean came along and I was more or less normal again I was wearing my black jeans in which I'd sewed all my band patches to and he noticed my Sex Pistols patch so we talked about the sex pistols and I asked for a hug and he hugged me like I'd imagine a father would hug his daughter...

Then it was a short wait for the people who were running the meet and greet people to take our photos... and there were lots of us so we had to go up in pairs so anyway it eventually got to my turn and the guy who was also in my photo went up and took his place between Billy and Benji and I just stood there frozen just staring at Good Charlotte with my mouth open and this silly look on my face and Joel was standing in the group and put his arm out to the side and signaled for me to come over and stand next to him, so I walked over and stood in front of the arm he was holding out and he put it around me and I put my arm around him in which I'm pretty much the same height as Benji and Joel but I still have a silly smile on my face in the photo...

the photo was taken and I handed Joel this letter I had written to the guys and he said thanks and I silently walked away and back downstairs.. and met up with my sister and we headed off to find our seats but as we walked under where I'd met the guys I looked up because there was kind of a balcony kind of thing and Dean was looking down and I went to my sister and said look it's Dean a little too loud and he smiled at me and stepped away from the edge so he couldn't be seen before my sister could see lol

but yeah I feel like I acted kinda silly but it was still the most awesome thing that has ever happened to me and I hope every fan gets to experience it at some stage

Have any of you guys ever hugged any of them in a picture? like not a picture with the whole band but with each of them? I really wanna hug benji in a picture but i might be afriad to ask him cuz i dont wanna freak him out or anything!lol.

when i met them at the bamboozle roadshow i was wearing a DCMA tshirt and benji was like, wow i like your shirt and billy was like oh yeah, thats a cool one, ive never seen that one before. i was like dying. it was so awesome.

Thank God when I met Billy, Paul and Deano at Bamboozle everything went well and I didn't say or do anything dumb. LOL, This has nothing to do with Good Charlotte but my daughter and I were actually just talking about seeing Never Shout Never last October. She went out back after the show to meet Christopher Drew. Her friend who was with us texted her and asked where she was. My daughter told her that she was out back meeting Christopher. My daughter said that right after that her friend came running around the back of the venue screaming and Christopher, who was standing there with my daughter was like "uh oh!!!!!" My daughter's friend is such a spazz. She always freaks out when she meets bands and stuff. When we went to see BlessTheFall in Portland Maine, when Craig Mabbitt was still their lead singer, she wanted to meet him so bad but wouldn't go over to talk to him when he was sitting right there. I finally had to drag her over and ask him if he minded posing for a picture with her. She was speechless and never said a word to him. It was so funny.

Awh that sucks about the CD thing, camera wise it's been ok for me but my friends pic of Benji is rubbish cos the light refected of his sunglasses (I think) so they both have no faciual features lol.

My most embaressing moment was my first meeting with the twins (Kerrang! Breakfast with GC) and they both started talking to me at the same time! I was so excited at meeting them AND there was a camera filming behind them which was very distracting. I really struggled to keep a conversation with them both, I've worried ever since that I came across as a little rude :S lol. After chatting to them I went to leave thinking my freind was behind me and Benji called out goodbye but I had to come back in the room cos I 'd wondered where my friend had gone, so awkward lol.

The group meeting outside Birmingham that year went ok though so I'm hoping if I meet them this year it will go well.
