Fort Wayne Show

I was really upset when Good Charlotte bailed on their fans during the Fort Wayne concert recently. the proper thing to do would be to reschedule the concert. My fiance(whose account i am using to post this) has been in love with Good Charlotte for 7 years. She always wanted to go to a GC concert and meet the band. So, we bought tickets and drove over an hour to get to the show(which is a lot of gas money). The trip itself was difficult because my truck broke down and we've had problems with it ever since. We were not informed until we arrived at the concert that GC would not be there and we later found out that they were not going to reschedule the show. Right now she is on bedrest and pretty much can't do anything for herself because of complications with her pregnancy. And very soon she will give birth to our son, so that concert was her only chance to see GC. It's very disappointing to her and it broke my heart seeing her so upset when we found out one of her dreams would never come true. I just hope that this message will show Good Charlotte what an impact not having that concert had on their fans, especially my baby. I hope they will try to remedy this situation.

Thats why you ALWAYS check gig details before you travel.
Its sad, I know that because that has happened to me. It was obviously something that could not be helped, same as how you cant help how your situation panned out. But it happens. In the adult world things clash, and noone can do all the things they want to. Why are you closing the door, saying she'll never meet them or see them. You never know what will happen in the future.

The gig was not reorganised due to the fact that they were unable to book another approriate venue, and their working schedule was cramped as it was. So it was cancelled. You'll get your money back, and they will do their best to tour there next time. I have heard there was issues with the promoter, which means that your anger and disppointment is aimed at the wrong people. GC cannot play a concert, if the person organising it doesn't do their job. Thats the most common reason for concerts being cancelled.

yess we know and my fiance was just sad to see me. but i truly would like to see them but i doubt even if they did come back i could go. i prolly wont be able to go for awhile and thats if they are still comin back here by then and we know its not gc's fault.

I'm sorry you and your fiance were disappointed but at least you didn't travel from Montreal like a friend of mine did. Only to arrive and find out that Good Charlotte weren't going to be there. She and her friend were devastated.

Over the years, I've bought tickets to several concerts that have either been postponed or canceled. That's life I guess.
