b> Pick your FAAAVE GC record and I guess we'll discuss it =]
My favorite GC record would have to be Self-Titled [ Good Charlotte's 1st one ], be-cuz it has their DC sound,ya know. I actully own GC EP and their first record sounds just as good as the the EP. That's my opinion though.

Aren't all the songs from the EP on the first album? If you really own it, you are lucky. It is very rare. My favorite GC album (although I love them all) is Chronicles of Life and Death. The reason is because it is a dark album and so different from their first two. "I just wanna live" is my favorite GC song ever. I've heard different stories about what inspired the guys to write such heartfelt songs. When I hear "The Truth", a totally gut wrenching song, I get goose bumps, and "Predictable." enough said. It is a real masterpiece.
I don't have a favorite. Well I switch from time to time, ya know? Like, one day I'll start listening to GMR and be like "wow, i've missed this. it's so good." But then just the same it may happen again with self titled, etc. So I guess I should say it changes around :)
hmm I like them all to be honest.. its hard to pick one... as there are aspects and songs from them all that I listen to a lot.
but ummm I think Chronicles of Life and Death spoke to me the most :)there was a lot more emotion in this album as opposed to the other ones and I truly admire that about artists. Thus, I am going to have to agree with what Tanya said... (even though I do not have a dark personality, far from it...) I find its their most powerful album so far.
i agree with you Emma on their first album.. I have it as well.. I miss their DC sound.. but at the same time.. I like their new sound.. most artists don't keep the same sound through out their careers - it progresses as their lives progress.
took forever to pry that EP outta my cousin hands thou '^_^, he simply wouldn't give it up! he said "this is some cool sh!t yo,they sorta remind me of young Romones"--now he hates GC,kinda makes you wonder these days...
Yeah... it is actually really tricky to pick... I've been swapping between self-titled and GMR lately, and they're completely different! And there isn't a single song on Y&H that I could skip. Chronicles didn't heaps do it for me as an album, I was kinda growing away from GC when that came out, but that was the tour I first saw them so it reminds me of that. :)
Yeah... oh well, maybe he will come back to it, you never know... I sorta drifted off and liked only the heavier stuff for a while, but then I started listening to GC again a couple of months ago and thought, "Hey, I forgot this is actually really good!" lol. And finally bought GMR!! Only like 2 years late lol... and I call myself a fan again, shame on me lol
