This is so very true. Back when I was all metal and my co-worker was into Dave Matthews Band etc, he told me it didn't matter what kind of music you love, as long as you love music. Music makes the world go. And, after finally getting to see "Notorious" last weekend, it made me stop and think about rap/hip hop music and what it's done for race relations. I seriously believe without it, the US wouldn't have a black president. Rap isn't just a genre of music, it has changed a whole generation. Seriously. How do other people feel about this???
I agree with you. :) Music is in the eye of the beholder. Or in this case the ear. If some people hate GC..more room for me up at the front when they are on stage thankuveramuch. :)
A little while ago I was in a huge argument with some people who think GC is not a good band. F*** them. I won the argument, ofcourse. 'Cause GC's one of the best bands EVER.
everywhere you go you see kids bashing people, picking on kids. they've got their techno playing, or they all have like a f****** Jonas Brothers or Short Stack CD.
