April 25th - The Rescue @ Dundas Square (Toronto, ON)

I joined this site because I recently saw a youtube video posted by Joel Madden to promote this cause. I'll be honest, I'm not a full out fan but I have started listening to some music. My post is to encourage those people in the Toronto area to come out and show your support for this cause. I have the highest respect for celebrities like Joel for using his influence on the fans to contibute back into soceity.

April 25th is the date we will walk to help bring light to this social issue. No child in any country deserves to be kidnapped from their families or their childhood to be used as foot soldiers for malicious and callous means. Pleease come out and support this cause. Spread the word to your family, friends, neighbours & co-workers.

I am not some sort of hired agent. I live in Toronto and saw Joel's youtube video to encourage his friend to come support the cause.

Oh and for those people who encourage the papparazzi to harrass celebrities for pictures, voice clips and such.. I think it's sad. It doesn't matter who it is or how much money they make. Having photographers, videographers and sleezy tabloids around you 24/7 when you're trying to grab a bite or take your kid out. It's a terrible thing for anyone to go through.

Anyways, those who are able to make it in the Toronto area.. please do. It is a very important cause! Those of you who aren't in the Toronto area, check the website and see if there is an event near you. Have a great weekend!!
