Anyone Shocked and Disqusted with the newly designed Hot Topic?

Has anyone seen all of the neon clothing inside. and the brightly lit store. no trace of dark clothing barely left inside... its totally changed.

they did what now? I haven't been to a mall since i did christmas shopping. lol. who cares? Hot Topic completely sold into the "fashion" industry. I thought it was supposed to be all about the music.

Hot Topic. Last time I was in the states, I walked in.

I then turned round and walked back out.

Its a fashion shop, its full of 'in' bands and 'in' clothing. And its way too expensive for what the clothes are.

I saw it in 98, and i hated it then. Thrift stores and charity shops are where its at. Not this overpriced garbage

and don't expect to find any GC stuff at Hot Topic anymore. I do buy other bands shirts in there and hoodies and make up. I will always dress in black though. No neon for me. Leave that to the Emo kids.

I have no room to judge. I had a pair at one point. LMFAO. Except they were really tight purple plaid capri's with a bunch of zippers on them. I actually got stuck on my couch once when I wore them. FAIL.

YES.. I HATE THE NEW HOT TOPIC. It's all this scene crap. Ya know the type of person thats like "eff life...my life sucks but I havent been thro sh** yet" those type people. Wish it'd go back to the gotic metal store. I miss it like that. Seriously the ONLY good bands they ever have of shirts in there are Marylin Manson, Nirvana, Cannible Corpse, Slipknot, and on occasions Good Charlotte. That store sucks anymore.

Does the store suck, or is have people outgrown it.
Its scene because its popular.
it was (very light) punk because pop-punk was fashionable.
It hasn't really changed, its still following trends.
just a trend people on here aren't following.
