Anyone been teased for liking good charlotte?
I was harassed at a hot topic many years ago. this guy followed me around the store making fun of my gc hat. he was talking really loud too. he would not leave me alone. i eventually left the store in embarrassment.

I got s*** in school anyway so I can't really define whether it was because of GC or not haha
My ex gave me s*** about them all the time. He gives me s*** about everything I do or say. Except who's the loser who has to retake his second year of university? oh wait, that's him! And oh wait, who didnt? ME. So the end of the day, I don't give a s*** what you listen to as long as you're not a douchebag.
I have weird music taste (I listen to Lionel Richie and Led Zeppelin ffs) and lots of people tell me how cool it is so haters to the left...

No one has the right to make fun of some1 who loves something. We GC fans should not get upset at what others say....we must stand tall in respect and admiration for the band we all truly love. N yeah no1 has ever teased me about me being a GC fan. Most of the people I know dont like GC but I have loved them since the time I 1st heard their songs. Never stopped loving them from that time.

I was known at school for my love of GC, my year book even has a comment from a girl I used to be freinds with "We used to be good freinds and then you liked Good Charlotte" lmao and I did an English presentation about GC adn the whole class groaned lol but it's cool I met more people that liked them when I started working. I'm a GC fan and proud <3

yeah. in high school, this is like 8 years ago, i used to get the piss taken out of me cos no one knew who gc were then, they just thought i was mad haha. and in college all the "cool" people used to take the piss but i wasn't bothered.
and to this day, my friends take the piss out of me for my gc love haha

Yes, but not for quite some time.Years ago i had two guys follow me around a festival i was at, giving me grief over my GC t i was wearing making comments about the band.Eventually i turned around and told them politely to f*ck off, smiled and said have a good one, they smiled back and then had the audacity to ask for my number.Needless to say, they didn't get it haha.
My ex who's name was also Joel used to pay out on me on occasion, but that was partly my own doing as I used to wind him up with the name game.Never had any drama's with females though.....!

At Warped this year, while standing in the meet and Greet line to meet "Bring me the Horizon", a kid noticed my skull tattoo on my left arm and asked if I had any others. I showed him my Good Charlotte tattoo on my other arm without saying a word. He looked like he was going to laugh and then just looked away. I didn't let it bother me and I am not ashamed of being a GC fan. Even standing in line to meet BMTH!!! LOL I stand up for my band no matter what.

lol my husband makes fun of me for liking them...doesn't bother me a bit, then again not much does. I am very much a "You do your thing, and I'll do mine I don't give a F* what you think" type of person.
