anybody watch trl? I kinda met benji n joel!
It was crazy. The whole time, really, we were by the back door. Sometimes we took walks to the pit but it was just crazy. (I can't believe trl is ended!! Ah!)
At about 9:45 we went to the red light at the back of the building the one way street. With my camera, GMR cd and the dcma shirt on. We weren't sure when they were leaving because they had entered the building like an hour earlier!! Ha! Soo I texted my friend and she said they didn't even go on tv yet. Didn't wanna walk by the pit because I didn't wanna miss hilary duff. (Which btw, people ran after her car n was knocking on her window so she didn't open it :/ but I got a 2 second video of her entering the place I thought it was a picture ! Ha new camera.)I've been a fan of her since lizzie mcguire. So yea we just stayed at the redlight and waited. And waited. There was nobody else there. At about 10:30 or around that I got to talking to benji and joels car service driver(because we saved the liscence plate number in our heads when they entered so we knew which escalade was theirs lmao) my mom told him about me waiting here forever and big fan, all that stuff. =) and he was nice. I was just like, hey, im freezing here. It would mean the world to me if u could just ask them about opening your window. He said he would the 2nd time and he sounded really sincere. He said he's picking them up at 11. The car passed again at 11;09 and it wads speeding but he seen us so he waved like he was just goin around the corner. Soon after, ludacris or someone drove by and all these girls ran after his car. He ignored them. They were there and they knew the escalade that was driving up to the redlight was benji n joel cause there was 2 real fans running after their car screaming their name. It was a green light and we thought they were gonna pass us by but the driver pulled to the side and joel opened his window, I was on the other window side which was closed...so I went to the other when I found it was open and girls were there. There were like 5 of them. Me, and my mom. Benji was in the middle and josh on the other side. The girl was gonna take a pic with joel but her camera died so she was talking to him and the ludacris fans were in the way and 1 was like ah he's so cute! I told them I seen them 2sx this summer n I love them joel n benji both said thank u :) anddd I asked for a pic but he didn't answer or just didn't hear me from these girls in my way! Ahhh! The car drove off...... I was sad. I waited there luike 2 hours on that stret curb where NOBODY was. My digital camera ran out of battery soo right before we were expecting thwm we went to the shop on that corner and bought a disposable cam. My mom said she got a pic of joel on that one. She said she didn't even notice benji. Lmao! I was just happy to be there. But sad about the people that prob barely knew who they were in my way. I mean, ill let true fans meet their people without me getting in the way. I have before! It was just chaos there. But a good time. I can't complain. They're such nice guys. The driver tried :P

i bought a DCMA shirt right before then because i really wanted to wear it. And i did!!! but as i was by their car my coat was zipped (it was brutally cold out there!!!)
haha! oh wow thats soo cool. i seen one other guy walking around with a black sweater and in green letters saying GC. soo there were quite a few gc fans there =]

You kidding? So few were there for them. I only counted like 5 people. Where we were, they came out and we freaked out and people kept asking us who we were screaming for. To me, that's sad as all hell.
Everybody left before they went on. It's sad because there used be so many fans at TRL supporting them, now it's only a handful.

OMFG. Right. Where did all the GC fans go then? I mean, I didn't know who they were years ago. But damn am I glad I know who they are now :) its kinda sickening seeing all these people for ludacris and all those other rap artists. Did you seeing them starting chaos in the middle of NYC traffic with those signs 10 ft. High? Idk why I said there were a lot of gc fans there. I never seen them when they we're eon the air I was all the way aroumd the corner at the redlight so I didn't asee noone knew who they were. But It was me, my 2 friends and this dude in their shirt that id seen so I guess I thought at the time it was a lot. With that HUGE crowd, I guess it wasn't :P
Its sad no one knows who they are. I bet if they would give their music a listen they'd fall in love.
I feel like passing their music out so they can have more fans.....but I guess its cool that GC gets so personal with us if u know what I mean. Like that they're not a fad and they're not playing 40,000 up venues.

More like we're a close knit GC family. I would love it if more people embraced GC and enjoyed them as much as I do. But in another regards..its nice being able to go to the shows and not worry about overcrowding and being able to see the guys up close. And GC has the best fans in the world and the nicest. :) I've enjoyed standing or sitting in the lines before the GC shows with everyone and the fans seem to enjoy hanging out and just chatting. :) Its fun. :)

when i went to my 1st GC show Aug. 12th we showed up on the line at like 11:45 am. lol. Me and the girl behind me and my mom(in misery lol) talked a lot. I told her it went by quick for me. Because thats not an everyday thing where you get to hang out with other GC fans and stuff....besides the website. So it was just really cool.
Its a good thing i guess that not everybody knows who they are. But im sure we'd get to see them more places if they were a bigger band than they are. I hear that they were huge and everyone knew who they were in like 2002.

I think GC is awesome then and now. I can't wait to experience more shows and records from GC. I'm so glad I've had the pleasure and honor of being a GC fan too. I've had a lot of fun!

I've had a lot of fun too over the years. I feel like I actually belong somewhere because most people think of me as odd. LOL!!! Reading how people at TRL were asking who the twins were makes me think of Providence R.I this past summer. I was out back after the show by the buses talking to Joel with my daughter and our friend and a couple were walking by. I saw them standing down the street afterwards and they asked me who Joel was. When I said Good Charlotte the guy recognised the name but the girl was clueless until I said he Is Nicole Richie's boyfriend!! and these people were in their 20's I'd say.
