who inspired you to play?

I play the harp.

Who inspired me to play? Well I suppose GC inspired me to love music in the first place, but J.R.R. Tolkien inspired me to play the harp, because of the way he writes about people playing it.

I wanted to play an instrument but I didn't want to play one that everyone else was playing, so I decided to play the harp because I didn't know anyone else who played it. I also think it's a really beautiful instrument and I like the sound. I don't play one of those huge orchestra harps though. I don't like those. I play a smaller celtic harp. The kind you can carry around with you like the ones they had in medieval times. I love the old fashioned feel it has to it.
