What does GC mean to you????
Soooo???? What do they mean to you??? What has their music given to you for all those years??? heh?
Well for me are all of them my Punk-Rock demonic angels!
For me: MUSIC=FREEDOM! and THEIR music is full of energy that I need, it´s full of answers and full of questions, so it also makes me thinks about some interesting issues... it´s full of feelings so simillar to mine, so I feel extremely comfortable everytime I listen to their songs... Their music is music for all kinds of moments: I listen to it when I´m waiting for a bus in a crowd of strange people and they are all dully staring at me...but WHO cares? "I just wanna live!" ... I listen to it when I´m really feeling down, depressive mood, cry and things like that, buuutt here we go "Hold on if you feel like letting go...".... I listen to them when I´m angry about this world cause of all f.ckers with lots of money and s*** in head...and hey! those f.ckers lead us to "heaven" Damn it! "Lifestyles of the RICH and FAMOUS".... I listen to it when I simply want to ROCK out, so..."I´m young and I´m hopeless!"....I listen to them when there´s time for some rock ooogie-boogie dance, so here we go "Everybody!Say I don´t wanna be in love"....well and there are many other reasons, but I´m too lazy to write them all, plus that would be NEVER ending story!

GC means a lot to me. I love their music and the guys of GC are sweet and make me glad I'm a fan. They've given me lots of enjoyment listening to their music. Once I was having this really crappy day and I went home and put on a GC video and I felt better. The lyrics of their songs can really make a person stop and think too that others have and are going through things too. I love GC!

GC to me means getting through life no matter what it throws at you i have had my bad stuff happen in my life some things that some people will never understand but GC reach out with there music and give me the strength, hope inspiration and faith i need to get through anything - i owe them my life

I am the cliche of 'i owe them my life', but i do.
I met my best mate, Joe, at a GC show in 2003. He found me went I tried to hang myself, he saved me.
I owe GC for giving me my angel.
My angel who was killed 15th September 2007, when he was bottled, and had reoccuring seizures which killed him. I love him and miss him every day, but the fact the band that introduced us is still going, means the world to me.
They are why i am alive. I love you GC

that story touched my heart i had an addiction to self harm and it got to the stage where when i listened to GC i began to feel guilty for doing it because i felt like i was letting them down ive heard people who've met Joel and Benj and theyve said how Joel and Benj said they shudnt do that to themselves etc and well it just made me feel bad that i did that to now im always gonna have to live with the scars but as they say the scars are they to remind us what we learned from the past

He lived by the phrase 'nothing ever dies', and its now my motto.
I know hes still here with me, and i swear i can hear him everytime i want to cut, or im down.
He sang me Hold On at a talent show, and dedicated it to us and that we were gonna grow old together. It didnt happen, and i feel like i let him down.
GC is his positive voice, i cant listen to Hold On without crying.

I remember reading that Joel and Benji..especially Joel would be torn apart by letters he received from fans with similar issues. He used to not be able to sleep because of some of the letters. Benji is just as sweet as Joel and he cares about the fans too. I'm glad you got through that.

Yeah.
They are really nice guys. Benji is my hero, beacause he said that every situation has two paths, it doesnt matter what way you go as long as you go one way.
Its wierd, and it sounds like 'stoner talk' but it stuck with me. :)

I've been listening to them since i was like 12 so thats been about 7 years. So to say what they mean to me...I'll just say this. They changed me completely. Ever since i was little I wanted become this fancy prosecuting attorney pretty much just cuz they made a lot of money. [Because of them] I am now attending Columbia which is one of the best art schools in the world. I have a passion for music like you wouldn't believe. I'm majoring in music business with a concentration in Tour Management and I have never been so happy. :] I think that says enough.

i heard that from Benj too and yeah it is weird but its very true some of the best advice i live by is stuff Benji and Joel have said in interviews or whatever
