well there was loadsa s*** that went on between chris and GC but basically he became unreliable to the band he was being late for rehearsals and stuff because of drug issues he had so he left and apparently went into rehab he has another band now though i cant remember the name of it lol hope this helps you xx

I'm not trying to feed rumors, but what i heard was he was addicted to something, or had a health issue preventing him from touring.

hey i found out his new band is called the summer obsession so he's still out there just he got hooked on drugs and had to leave the best behind lol sorry but he was really mean to the rest of the gc guys when they parted ways they were saying that benj and joel had conned him out of money and stuff and like benj and joel said at the time chris never wrote any songs or music so didnt have a stake in the royalties they got :D

THANK YOU SO MUCH! As mean as this might sound, I could care less what went on with him and GC. That's none of my buisness. I was just heartbroken because he's one of my all time favorite drummers. And I was just curious to why he wasn't in the band anymore. But now I know. And I'm glad that I now know where to find his wonderful drum beats lol.

the summer obsession broke up but i think he's doing some other band now, who really knows.

a while ago he posted some big blog basically saying benji and joel were evil people and it was just really, really, really inappropriate and childish, honestly. he was trying VERY hard to turn GC fans against them and it was almost laughable.

i hope he's in a better place now then where he was, though.

oh i didnt know summer obsession broke up never really cared much about him once he left GC tbh but yeah i read that thing he posted and it just made me so angry with him that he would be so childish as to attempt to turn GC's fanbase against them but yeah he has to be in a better place now i dont think he could have gotten much worse

Yeah that is pretty childish. But still, not really my buisness. I've never met the guy, the only reason I really liked him was because I thought he was an excellent drummer. I could really care less what he does in his personal life. If he wants to write nasty blogs about people, or do drugs, more power to him. ( Not that I agree with those two things, but it's his life, and he can chose to do with it what he pleases.)
And if any of you know what his newest band is called, since apparently The Summer Obsession broke up, could you let me know? lol.

Yeah I know what you mean. In a way I kind of feel close to them, only in the sense that I've been through a lot of what they sing about, so when I listen to their music it feels like they picked my thoughts out of my brain.

Do any of you know if that blog is still up somewhere? I'm kind of curious to what it said lol.
And I just downloaded a bunch of The Summer Obsession songs, and I think this might be one of my new favorite bands lol.
