They could have done so much with the cover. Granted it is an alright concept, but I would have went with something that actually connected the album with what GC has done already, since it's a retrospect of all their previous albums.
Like I don't relate GC to skulls. If I designed the cover, I'd do like just the TV from TYATH and have like the aftermath of that nuclear explosion, cracked screen, etc. Stuff like that.
GC HIRE ME! lmfao. Sorry, this is what I'm in college for.

that does sound really cool!! i cant imagine what that could look like as a finished image, but it sounds REALLY cool. How could the gc guys be like, yeah. that looks awesome! lets make it the shiny skull! like, whoah. lol. well at least i know it means something to one of the guys.... on MTV cribs when joel was on it, he showed the singing skull halloween dude and he's like, i really love skulls. so maybe thats why he liked it. when i was on GC's myspace my eyes were hurting with that skull moving so much. very shiny. lol. ....whatever. its just a cover. but they couldve done better.

That cover...I'd add something, concept is okay, but it's like not finished for me. Checked myspace and that spinning skull is...kinda annoying :S
I'm not really into those remixes and stuff, so it might not be fav for me.
And because this is greatest remixes I agree that it should be connected to previous albums.

Well, personally, I love skulls. I collect them. They are all over my house. I have one in the back window of my car and I have one tattooed on my arm. As for GC and skulls? I don't know. I would have actually preferred a picture of them on the cover or something. But, I dont' think it is all that bad. I do like Piratesteph's idea though. Lets just hope the music is good!!!!

It sucks. It really does.
I don't like at all the huge shiny skull. It's not because of the skull but because of the sequins and all the stuff. That reminds me the 14 years old b****** who say they love Rock cuz it's fashionable. ( While they think "Rock" means emo/fashion and don't know any true Rock band like Guns n Roses or Led Zep ). Plus I'm not into remixes.
Well, I hope their next record won't be like this... =_=" Or else I wouldn't buy the record and I'd be a "fan on strike" who'll wait until they remake great music & stuff.

You don't really have to be 14 to think Rock is a fashion... because to some degree it is a fashion, its a style and a lifestyle... Nowadays music has evolved from just being a record you play every once in a while, people take it a lot more seriously and they adopt that kind of music as a lifestyle... Be it rock, hip-hop or emo...
There will always be people that claim to be something they're not just because they like the jeans their friend is wearing... but its all a part of getting to know who you are... finding a place to belong. I used to love hip hop music when I was 12/13... I dressed the part and everything, but then I relaised it wasn't for me, it was just a stage I went through while trying to discover who I was. I don't think any of us have the right to judge anyone else, just because of what clothes they choose to wear... I don't really see the problem when people don't dress to how people 'expect' them to, surely thats the point? To be who you are...
As for the album cover, it's a little plain, but it's probably not finished, and at the end of the day thats what they chose to do. I mean after TCOLAD who would have expected and album like GMR, white and orange... This is GC's attraction for me... You can't predict what they're going to do next.
