:) The pond is a pain in the booty to maintain! Every year we have to put the fish in a small wading pool and drain all the water out of the pond and scrub it. Its more work then people realize. But its pretty in the summer and the fish are fun. :)

When I lived in California my stepdad's sister had a goldfish pond in the backyard by her pool but her toy poodle would go out there and catch the fish, one by one, and watch them flop until they died. She finally gave up on it, drained it out and never used it after that. LOL!! Where do the fish go in the winter Beverly? Do you just leave them there?

The fish go down to the bottom of the pond and go into a form of hybernation. When it gets colder..like now..I have to stop feeding them or it would kill them. Once this huge heron was standing on the fence getting ready to fish and we had to scare him away. :) lol

oh, okay. They are goldfish right?? I think they are in the carp family. That is too funny about the heron. He probably thought he'd found a easy place to get some lunch!! LOL!!!

Ooo pretty pond, I'd like to have one but (a) live in an apartment (b) yeah, they are a lot of work, I'll just admire everyone elses till I'm rich and successfull enough to have a groundskeeper!! hahahaha :)
Awww, Bev's all decorated for Christmas! (Old picture? or did you do that already?) I'm gonna have to do that in a couple weeks. I need to get around to undecorating sooner than the last couple years when I left 'em up till March and April! Bad me!
I didn't get to decorate for Holloween though *tear* I'm sad thats my fav time to decorate but I thought I was gonna get evicted! It's all alright now though :)

Those fish are called Koi. They are extremely hardy fish. :) LOL at the heron. He was getting ready to have lunch! ;) lol

LOL! THanx! Thats an older picture. This year we have to do something different with decorations because those lights on the house and on the buses have died and my husband says he's through with them! ;) haha! We are going to put out these lighted trees and some white deer and we will have white rope lights going up the two trees and candy canes in the trees. :) lol Of course I will be putting the red bows, etc. on the bushes. :)
