Good Charlotte

Its cold here in Maryland and so I thought I wore warm clothes until I walked into my office. I'm freezing and I have my coat on and I'm so cold I just want to go home and get warm. :( I hate cold weather!!!! I love summer and the warm sun. The only thing good about cold weather is that the water out of the faucet is cold and the holidays. After Christmas, I'm ready for Spring and Summer. I'M FREEEEEZING MY BOOOTAY OFF!!!!

LOL I know I know, I also HATE cold & winter.
I miss the summer!! Where I live in France,( Here, near to Mâcon ), there's no snow in winter ( and the temperatures aren't too low ) but the summer is CRAP! ><" There's sun only in July, ( no cloud, 30°C ... 8) ) and in August it seems it's Autumn...=_=" I'm fed up, I wanna live in the South ( near to Cannes! This city is wonderful ), or even in Australia or in California!
I would love living in California except I'm afraid of earthquakes and mudslides. :) But the weather is nice all year round. I wouldn't mind living somewhere that stayed warm all year round. Summer in Maryland is nice except we have high humidity cause we live near water. But it beats freezing and the cold. I love Spring because I love watching all the flowers bloom and the birds making nests, etc. :) I have soup for lunch here so perhaps I will warm up..because we do have a lot of hot air walking around! ;) lol
I would rather live in Maryland than Vermont. My doctor actually relocated to Maryland because her kids live there and the winters are milder. Summers in Vermont, when we get a good one (this past summer sucked- too rainy) are really nice. I love hot weather and I don't even mind humidity that much except my curly hair goes crazy. I don't like snow at all!! I could happily live in the climate where it never, ever snowed. I don't like Christmas so snow for Christmas doesn't matter to me. I would love to live in California but I heard it is very very expensive.
You should see the prices of houses out in California! They are expensive! I don't think I would love living in Vermont. If there is lots of snow on the ground then that state is not the state for me! Today I wore a heavy sweatshirt and I feel comfortable! :)
I actually work with a guy who moved here from Los Angeles. He loved it there and I'm not quite sure why he relocated here to begin with. (he is quiet and keeps to himself. He is originally from Poland and came here in his early twenties.) He has a girlfriend and a couple of kids and says he could never afford to live there now. He said the house prices and even the rent is outrageous. He is very unhappy here with the snow and lack of things to do. I feel bad for him. It must total culture shock for him!!
and sorry to be a scrooge!! People are always asking me how I can not like Christmas. I have my reasons!!!
Yeah unfortunatly, the best places where it's often sunny are, most of the time, very expensive!
Even the south of France! ( the coast, along the Mediterranean Sea ) The places like Cannes or Nice are great for holidays but I couldn't live there because of the prices! When we were on holidays near to Cannes, my mother ( who's fond of houses and gardens on the Côte d'Azur ) watched a real estate catalog:
A beautiful villa costs between 2 000 000 and 5 000 000 €
A house between 1 000 000 and 2 000 000 €
And just a little flat ( 4 rooms ) costs 200 000 €.
( Haha I can't imagine the prices in California x_x )
O_o I was surprised, but it's question of Côte d'Azur! ( Uh, I think the translation is "Riviera", but I'm not sure, so I use the French word...) ^^" And Cannes is a famous and rich place...But there's always a great weather there!! >_<"
I would definately love to see your part of the country, seriously. :) I think the villas and such are beautiful. :)I've only seen pictures of it but from what I've seen its gorgeous. :) It DOES sound expensive to live there though! I love watching House Hunters International. :)
If you pull up Homes for Sale in the USA and see the listings..the homes in LA are outrageously high. I was just curious and I got sticker shock! :O lol Unless you have a really good salary or have money the prices would eat you up! I gripe but Maryland is just right. :) lol We are a small state but we have a lot going for us. You love mountains? We have them! You love the Ocean or water? We have it! You love city life? We have it in abundance. Shopping, clubs, movies, resturants, museums, etc. We have it all in abundance. But the price of homes here can be high too..for the area.
It was snowing here this morning when I left for work. The ground is too warm for it to stay yet. Thank God!!!
YOU POOR THING!!!! I HATE snow!!! Unless I'm in my pajamas with some hot chocolate looking out at the falling flakes. :) lol And today its still freezing but I have dressed for the cold. I think they have the air conditioning on still. Everybody is complaining too.
That is crazy!!! We central air here at work and sometimes it seems like the AC is on, even in the winter. They never seen to be able to regulate the heat. Some rooms are so hot you feel like dying and and some rooms are so cold you could hang meat in there!!! I remember walking into one of my co-workers offices on the "cold" end of the building and he was sitting at his desk working with his winter coat on.
