it's a weird thing... i have a crush and he's a metal and i'm an emo. lastnight, we were texting eachother... we were talking 'bout emo and metal stuffs... while we were talking... he told me that "metal and emo can't be together"... so guys, i just wante dto ask you... is that real??? "do metal and emo can't really be together? why?"

Why can't you both be together? 'Metal' and 'Emo' are nothing more then labels. If he really wants to be with you..he will ditch this excuse. Perhaps you should examine this 'crush' you have on him and go for someone who has a crush on YOU. This guy sounds like he's not ready for a 'hookup'.

This reminds me of my daughter who is Emo and her friend Nick who is a metal head. He always dresses in all black with bondage pants and spikes and chains etc, etc. Just don't ever call him a Goth, or you'll hear about it. LOL!!
Anyway, they argue back and forth about Emo and Metal and it always seems to be him that decides he can't hang around with her because she is Emo. Every other week he'll get pissed at her and block her on MY SPACE. It is so funny. I tell her if he is that shallow to allow different tastes in styles and music to come between them, then he isn't a very good friend anyway. He usually makes up with her in the end though. This crap goes on with them all the time. It is stupid.

Labels are pointless b*******. They're a way to discriminate. Stop looking at differences. Its music for crying out loud. No one cares. You like what you like, he likes what he likes. Accept it, if you like each other why does anything else matter?
My love is a metalhead and I'm a little punk. He likes Children of Bodom and I like Against Me!. I love folk punk and he likes Norwegian death metal. We're happier than a majority of people you'll meet because we don't care. Stop worrying about immature b*******. In ten years, it wont matter.

If your asking yourself that question, then i wouldn't even try and be in a relationship till you realise its the person not what the look like/listen to that matters.
