A personal thankyou to all of GC.
This isn't really about music,well it is in a funny sort of way. I have two young sons one of which has Aspergers' Syndrome, a form of Autism and through me being a fan of GC,through them producing great music,which has led me to this website. I have found someone to chat to,who understands exactly what I'm going through. You wouldn't believe how much of a great help this is! So I would like to say a personal thankyou to all of GC for enabling this to happen. Angelina.

What is Autism? I've heard the word a lot, but I've never known what it means.

Hi,Autism is very hard to describe and explain, as there are many different aspects to it. Imagine that you are on your own in a foreign country, you do not speak the language,you do not know how things operate in that country and there is no-one around to help you. Well that is what it is basically like for someone with Autism. To autistic people,we live in a strange and crazy world and they find it hard to interact with us. As they view and see the world completely different to us. I hope this gives you some sort of an idea,if you want to know more,do not hesitate to ask.

No problem. Yes it is hard, hard for my son,his brother, myself and anyone else affected by it but still, life goes on.

I don't get to go out much,my life has completely changed since having my children. A simple shopping trip around the supermarket has taken me 4hours in the past when I've had my boys with me, but still they are my life and I love them to bits! Finding others out there who understand is a great help.
