I've seen it many times before but happened to catch it on FUSE over the weekend. I really like it, although it got slammed by Johnny Rotten and the other members of the Sex Pistols for some of it's content. Also, I guess the guy who wrote it never interviewed any one in the band!! It is still a good movie though and I think Gary Oldman did one hell of a job as Sid Vicious. It shows how terrible heroin is, that is for sure!!
I dont like it, more a fan of SLC Punk than Sid and Nancy.
If you are going to base a film on someone at least base it roughly. The only similarity, apparently, was the look.

yeah, SLC Punk is a good movie too. I realize that there are a lot of inaccuracies in Sid and Nancy. Johnny Rotten hated the way he was portrayed and he didn't like the fact that the movie made him seem jealous of Nancy because he said he certainly was not. He said Nancy was evil and had a death wish and was determined to drag Sid down with her. He wouldn't
believe they had a suicide pact but that is what the movie shows.
I thought it was a great movie to watch, but I never considered it to be a documentary type of movie. I watched it one night at like 2am and I got a little bored of it because I was getting so sleepy, lol.
slc punk is my 2nd favorite movie next to the nightmare before christmas. my friends call me heroin bob because i am really scared of needles. i know all the words by heart and i've probably watched it around 300 times and i watch it evert day after school
