fan club
So has anyone else receive a package in the mail from the GC Fan Club where they tell you that their shutting it down till next year and the fan club members now will be VIP members next time? i got mine today :]

My mom just called me and said I got something from them. She didn't read the letter though. That must be it.

Received my buttons in the mail yesterday. I await to see what occurs with the conception of a new fanclub. Seems there was a whole lot of mismanagement going on there and GC finally did something about it. If its closed for good..well its better then having a fanclub that never changes or just sits in limbo without anything happening or any updates. Whatever. If it comes back I'll be there. If it doesn't..well I enjoyed being a member. The very first year it was opened it was awesome and there was lots of people on there and it was fun. I met some at a few shows. I met Barry from Scotland who I bought my knucles necklace off of. I will put the buttons I got in the mail yesterday up with the rest of my GC stuff.

At least they have changed it so that nobody else can join and become disappointed. It'll be sad if they don't follow through and reopen next year but I honestly won't hold my breath.
It's not personal, I know. It's just one of those good ideas that fails to come full circle. It's the thought that count I suppose.

I just think that everyone is taking the fan club thing the wrong way and getting mad or disappointed about it when they should be happy or something about the whole letter thing. i mean i understand it was ignored for a long time and everything but their obviously trying to get it to want it should be or they would not have took their time to send out the letters and buttons. I just think everyone should stop complaining about it.
