My GC Experience at The Sonar in Baltimore - THANX GC! YOU GUYS ROCK!
So I won the Grand Prize on the GoodCharlotte.com site. I won meet and greets for Aug. 23rd. I can't believe my good fortune! I arrived at The Sonar and showed the lady at the ticket office my email notices that I had won. She contacted GC's tour manager, Mark and he set me up. I was escorted to GC's dressing room and when I opened the door there was Benji, Joel, Deano, Paul and Billy and they all said, "Hi Beverly". I gave them all their stuff that I had bought them. Benji opened his up right away and seemed to really love it. I got him and Joel an Orioles key chain. Benji said he was going to buy a new car and it would be perfect for his new keys. He hooked the key chain onto his belt loop and wore it for the show. :) Joel loved the things I had bought Harlow. I got two hugs from Benji, one from Joel, one from Paul and I enjoyed meeting them all. They signed a lot of stuff for me and I kept telling them how much I love their music. Benji asked me if I liked GMR and I told him I have 3 copies and I love it. :) Joel loved the little pumpkin bib and held it up for Nicole to see and I said hi to her and told her how cute Harlow is. Someone asked me if I would still listen to GC if Benji put on cowboy boots and went country. Haha! I said it would never happen but I would buy it. I got to wait on the side of the stage behind scenes for three songs. As I walked outside to wait for the show to start, Benji walked out and asked to see my guitar tatt. He looked down my GCshirt and looked at it. I love the guys of GC! They were all super nice and made me feel so happy. I am so appreciative and I thank GC for everything! I love them guys!!

So did Joel remember you from Myspace?? I'm glad they have other older fans like myself: you and my friend Phyllis from My space and I've met fans our ages at shows. Like I told one of the girls on here, CDs don't come with age recommendations on them!!! That is so cool you got to talk to Robin Madden!!

I saw a baby being carried in but I don't know who's baby it was. :) Thats okay! :) I had fun meeting all the guys and it was so fun! :)

Joel Madden has a very good memory. He remembers me from myspace and they remembered me hanging on the barrier at the 930 club... :) I stand out I guess. ;) lol At the 930 club he looked at me and I was singing with him. :) I didn't even mention my guitar tattoo to anyone and Benji came out and asked to see it. :) Ms. Madden is really sweet and nice. :) She asked if I had any kids. :) lol

She looks like a nice person. What else did she say?? I did see Harlow from a distance. I'm not sure she was being carried by Nicole or her Nanny (yes, she has a Nanny, as least on the road, I don't know about at home.) Someone I talked to later after the show said he was talking to Paul in the alley way and Paul said something about not wanting to get on the bus because he was afraid to wake up the baby!!! How cute!!!

Ms. Madden told me her name was Robin and I told her my name. I told her that she did a great job of raising some fine kids. She asked me if I had any and I told her I had two that were 19 and 29. She said she also had a 31 year old named Josh. :) She was sweet. Awe about Paul worried about waking the baby. :) lol Joel really loved the little pumpkin bib I gave Harlow. I also gave her this little toy that jingles and I told Joel that half the profits went to breast cancer research. I really can't say enough about how awesome they all were to me. :)

awwww welll Beverly thats sooo sweet of you.. and Robin sounds really sweet, but you can tell by looking at her that she is. Thats good they went to breast cancer research!.... and that cute that paul said that... Umm well looks like you had anight you wont forget anytime soon!!!... its cool Benji asked to see your tattoo too!!..

One of my biggest dreams is to meet them ( obviously ) but mostly playing guitar with them *_* I know, that's impossible! x)
Was there any guitar when you met them?
Cuz if I had the chance to meet the guys like you met them and there was a guitar, I'd play acoustic GC songs hoping Benj & Joel sing! xD
No I'm crazy, that's impossible!

They were good. :) I've seen them before at Sharkys. I was standing by the ramp they go up to go to the stage and it was so awesome back behind the scenes!! :) I love GC so of course there's no comparison! ;)
