I know girls think a lot about their future childrens names. I've given mine some thought, with some input from my fiance, and we came up with Calvin Daniel if we have a boy. Calvin is my fiances great grandpas name, and Daniel is his middle name. and if we have a girl we want Lydia Brynn. No reason for her name. I really like the band Lydia and am a HUGE fan of Beetlejuice...and Mark just likes Brynn, but I don't know if I like it more than Lydia Jayne (my middle name)
Me and my bf have talked about this, cos it randomly came up once.
For a boy we have said either:
James Carl
Steven Carl
or
Ryan Carl
Cos he likes ryan, and i like james and steven and carl is his middle name
But not sure about girls name
I like Kate but i dunno or maybe Scarlet cos its different
Calvin and Lydia are both nice names. My son is Ryan Joseph and my daughter is Raven Ursula. My son is 24 and when he was born, I didn't know anyone named Ryan except Ryan O'Neal (who I named him after) I got my daughter's name from a friend's girlfriend, whose name was Raven. This was way before Raven Simone had her own show on Disney.
I love that name Scarlett. It's close to mine and sometimes I wish my mom hadn't just named me after me grandma and taken a different take on it, ya know Charlotte-Scarlett! I hope my kids don't hate me one day with the names I gave them! Leonardo Scott Anthony and Annastazia Charlotte Marie, they're gonna hate writing that!
I love those names. Leonardo reminds me of Leonardo Dicaprio, and Annastazia was the name of the daughter of the Russian Czar who supposedly survived when the rest of her family where executed. Very cool and different, and not cutesy like kaylee and Dakota and names like that that are popular now.
I'm like Gracie Max and I don't want to name my kids something typical.
And I guess I don't really think of these as kid's names, I just like the names for people in general..
Boy: Liam, Tybalt (Shakespeare, w00t), Amos, and Cillian (the C is like a K, not an S, if no one knew)
Girl: Blythe, Asia, Nuri, Azure, and Audi (yeah, I know, Audi is a car).
And other names.. could be for a boy or a girl is Dyre and Cadence.
I used to like Cecilia, until I met someone with the name. And now I'm not really on good terms with her. I wouldn't want to think of her every time I'm calling my kid.
