I want a PROPER answer to this
this is probably going to turn into a very controvertial issue but what i really dont get is why do people that dont like GC go on their fan site. if its just to annoy people then thats sorta stupid coz it just shows that they have nothing better to do with their time than annoy people who are fans of a band that they dont even like.
i wouldnt go on to a site of a band that i didnt like that to me just seems stupid.

I can't even give you any reason why people do this other then the fact that they are bored and have nowhere else to go to vent. I don't understand why they feel the need to go on a band site they hate and leave comments that demean the fans of the band. I ignore them and you should too. I would never think or want to go onto a bands site that I didn't care for and leave comments that are rude. But people are going to do what they want regardless of how they come off sounding. Makes me wonder what they get out of it. Wonder what they would say if someone bashed their fav band or what they like. :)

I liked them back in '03, joined the board, got to know the most amazing people. Basically, I go where my friends from the old board go. As for everyone else, I think it's mostly the same reason. Or they're just total douches with no lives.

but yeah, you pretty much summed it up, in that a lot of us were from the old board and eventually stopped giving a s*** about the band at some point, but still see their message board as a good online meeting place to chat with people we chatted with online over the last 5-7 years

For the most part all of the people on here who don't like GC anymore but hang out here to chat are decent about it and don't go and trash the band and make a**** of themselves. I think thats awesome. :)

The majority of those who come on here to bash the band are probably boys in Junior High school with no lives. I remember my son telling me about him and his friend going into a lesbian chat room and being rude and obnoxious to people. I gave him holy hell for it. That is when he was in the 8th grade and a little s***!!

I don't like Good Charlotte. I did at one point, but stopped. That was like five years ago. But I don't go around talking s*** because that's just lame.
I've met alot of awesome people through their boards. I've known and talked alot of these people for years already. Most even longer than friends I have in real life. I just follow my friends like Aleckz said.
And that's basically it.

i dont have a problem with people being on here if they used to like GC n have made friends with people and just say that they dont like them anymore or whatever but i think its just really sad when people that dont like GC and never have like GC come on here and just spread their hate its just annoying and sometimes offensive to us that are acctual fans
