The 930 Club DC show..
was so awesome! :) I got in line at the venue around 1:00 and the line wasn't long at all. I met Steph from here and a lot of folks from gcnaptown. :) It was so nice meeting people I talk to on here and there! :) I have to say that everyone is so awesome and nice!! I got in the line and it was HOT as HELL! ;) Thankfully some people had went and bought umbrellas in the hosptial gift shop and this nice young lady let me use hers. I was almost sick at one point but I managed to hold on till the doors opened at 7. It was so nice to go in and get some air conditioning and the club had huge pitchers of ice water. I snagged the front end and Step was on the front line down from me. The first band was really good. I liked them. The one young dude gave me a bottle of water!! I thanked him so much cause I was so thirsty from being in the heat all day. I loved their music. To me their music had the sound of a southern band. Then The Main came on and I thought the girls in the audience were going to faint. ;) I liked their music. I could find myself buying one of their albums. :) Then it was time for GC. AWESOME is the only way to decribe them! They all seemed to be really energetic! The whole club was awesome too! Everyone was really into singing the songs along with GC and everyone was jumping and doing their part to enjoy the show. :) Billy came over to my side of the stage and was practically right in my face! He was singing and looking at me. :) Joel came over a lot and one song he looked at me and I sang with him. :) FUN! Benji seemed to be enjoying himself too. He did the acoustic stuff which was really enjoyable. He said he's not the handsome twin. AWE. He IS too. He looked damn good to me. :) lol Paul played his heart out! He was sweating so bad it was dripping off of him. Deano was totally awesome too! :) I enjoyed the whole show so much! I got a scraped elbow from sitting against the wall waiting for the doors to open and I almost got sick from the heat..but it was definately worth it. The Main's van parked right in front of us and all the girls were thrilled to see the guys and write on their van. Their van provided the only shade and some of us ended up sitting or standing in it. :) Their van has all these signatures and things on it from their fans. Some are kind of suggestive. ;) I don't know who the first band was but I liked them a lot. But the GC guys..they are truly magnificent up there. They truly give a show that is fun and awesome. :) THANX GC! YOU GUYS ROCK!! :) And Thanx to all the fans too. You guys rock too. :)

No, I had a lot of trouble IN DC.
We stayed the night and relied on cabs- Katie got lost. XD

DC roads suk! I was saying the F word a lot and I try not to say it much.. ;) Florida Ave isn't in a straight line and there are no signs to tell where it's going. I got lost so much I was almost going to cry! ;) I just was stopping and asking anyone I could. Once I found rt. 50 I was happy! Back to Baltimore to bed. :) Now I have to find the Sonar. :)

aw i wanted to go to that show soooo bad but my parents wouldnt let me..they have this thing about DC. i swear they think that if i go to like the mall without them im going to get raped and die.....sooo i guess i'll have to catch them next year :(
buuuut im glad you had fun. im watching joel tell everyone to shut up while that dude is talking now on youtube- good stuff

LOL! That was so funny. :) DC isn't that bad except its hard to get out of! The people in the line were all really awesome and they would hold your spot for you if you needed to go eat or the bathroom. The 9:30 club is pretty much safe. :) Its just like anywhere else in that you just have to pay attention to your surroundings. :) But I can understand how your parents would feel. Maybe you can take a lot of friends with you for the next show there. Its really a great place to see GC. :) And the other bands were great too.

I'd definitely like to see GC in their home area. I also wish I could see another GC show sans all the other bands on this summer's tour. Too many teenyboppers running around screaming and hollering. I didn't mind seeing The Maine and Metro Station. Metro Station's album isn't bad,(My daughter has it), but it causes too much commotion.

I wish you could come see a show at the 930 club in DC. All of the family were there including Joel and Benji's dad. Someone said Ms. Madden was there too. A whole lot of family was there for everyone! No wonder they were playing a lot of stuff!!! :) I loved the other bands. They were awesome too. :)

I don't know. Someone said a baby was carried into the club but they didn't get a good look at who it was. lol All I know is that all the guys were reved up! :) They were smokin hot! :) By the way..I saw this table with water bottles on it for Benji and on the table was a can of Red Bull. ;) And can you believe he doesn't think he's cute??! I have to have words with him! He is definately cute as can be!!! lol
