okay yeah like an hour and a half ago....anyways. it's 1:37am. that time thing is always wrong for the east coast. Yeah showing up really really early to a concert is kinda dumb. Fun, but probably not gonna help you meet any bands. I talked to several other fans who got there early too. I was there at 1:30 pm. It started raining just after 2 and didn't stop raining until around 7:30ish, and me being who I am didn't think to bring an umbrella(good thing cause they aren't allowed in the venue). There were like four different Meet and Greet groups(I will forever despise some of those people, they were kinda obnoxious about the whole thing.) so none of the bands were coming out. The buses were in a seperate parking lot with security blocking all entrances so no luck there either. Couldn't stay long after cause I had to get a friend home, which I didn't mind, my feet were numb from being in cold wet converses for 9 freakin' hours. Two GC concerts now, one in '05 and the one last night, and I still have yet to meet GC:( Go early, stay late; doesn't matter. I tried though. How do you people meet them?!? Even though I didn't get to meet the guys, I still had a lot of fun. Great music, Hot guys, Large crowds, one helluva night.
Wow, this was an interesting conversation to read. Don't give up Adrienne, you'll meet Good Charlotte someday! I never thought I'd meet them, but I did, twice actually! Both times I floated on air for days afterwards, and I'm in my mid forties!! LOL Some of us never really grow up!! (Thank God)
As for Smash Mouth, wasn't the lead singer on a season of the Surreal Life a couple of years ago?? You know you've hit rock bottom when you end up on there.
