I just found out that Cashdogg died...? What happened?

I heard Benji had to put him down because of illness. Maybe he had cancer or something. I wish Benji would come on and clear this up for everyone because I've been hearing all kinds of stories about him and wonder which one is the truth.

Yeah I know, I didn't knwo Cash died until I saw the picture of Benji's cat, and asked in the forums about him. All I know is that he died, I have no idea why. But he was a pretty old dog. And Boxers don't normally live to long.

Why do people care so much about Cash? It's not like he was YOUR dog. Nobody cares about the other band members' animals and it's like "OMG POOR CASHHH". There have been so many other animals who died in worse ways. Although it's alright to mourn a little bit, I don't get why everyone's so obsessed with a dog that nobody ever met.

We should mourn all the animals who were beaten, abused, neglected, starved, tortured, poisoned and even killed for personal pleasure.

Watching some of those horrible Animal Planet shows where people abuse, neglect and starve animals makes me want to cry. Any animal that has been well cared for and loved are blessed. Ca$hdog had a good life and was well cared for. He probably got sick and had to be put down. Its sad but at least Ca$h was taken care of and loved. I think if anyone wants to do something positive in Ca$hdogs name..help animals any way you can..even if it means helping at the local animal shelter..or start with pets and make sure their nutured and spayed and loved. Animal shelters are in need of many things anybody can afford. Newspapers, old blankets..you can call and ask what they need. I applaud anyone who cares that animals have the right to be free of abuse and neglect and that they are just as deserving as humans in being loved.

Cash got all excited and tied his leash around my BFF's legs at Warped once upon a long ass time ago. Some of us have met him ;)

Though I really do get your point. I get really upset about those "Save the abused animals." commercials far more than the "sponsor a child." ads. Which makes me feel like a horrible person. Everytime I see a dog I'm like "Puppy!!! I WANT!" D: I'd like to be independently wealthy and live on a ranch with every dog and cat in the world.

I don't think a lot of people realise how old Cash was. He was a puppy in like 2001. Doggies and big dogs especially don't have a very long life expectancy.

Me too. Theres that one commercial where Sarah McGlaughin is singing and they show these poor animals. I just want to hug them all. The first dog is shaking. :( I can't imagine anyone treating an animal or a person with any kind of abuse. Its just sick.

Big dogs get hip displasia. And Ca$h was getting up there in doggie years. At least he was treated well and he was a video star! He was in at least two of the videos. :)
