*THE DENVER SHOW*---Well you guys put on a great show last night. But i was highly disappointed because I waited outside for you guys to come out for over an hour. Paul was the only one who came out. Before the show ended Joel said if we see them out on the street to say hi. and we did. But he just walked away ignoring us.I remember all the other GC shows I've been to-and you guys always come out to thank your fans. but this time you guys just kept walking right past us like we didn't even exist. We didn't even get a wave. Nicole was nice enough to wave to us every time we called out her name. So I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to PAUL. because he came out to talk to us and sign for us. And i'm so surprised that the rest of you didn't. that's a first. after almost two hours of waiting I left because I lost hope. I still love you guys, and I did hear Benji wasn't feeling well, but what stopped you Joel, Billy? Why couldn't you guys at least say hi....I've been a fan since the first album, and you guys have never disappointed me like this until last night...

The poor guys can't wait for everybody or they'd be there all night. Plus from what someone else said..they all did come out. Sorry you didn't get the chance to meet all the guys. But Paul is nice! At least you got the opportunity to meet him. Some people haven't met any of the guys. At least you got to a show. Some people have yet to see GC in concert. I don't blame you for being dissapointed. But don't blame the guys. I'm positive Joel wouldn't ignore you for no reason. He's not like that at all. Maybe Joel's back was hurting him like he said in that one video. You just can't assume that he was being an a$$.

Don't get me wrong. I will always love them. Like I said this is the first time this ever happened. But seriously-taking two seconds to wave..that would've been enough for me. I would've waited longer but I had to go to work. And they saw us waiting they just were chatting, and smoking a cig or two..but it's cool. Paul is my favorite.

Either way, if they had just walked by and waved, people would still think they were assholes for not stopping to talk to them. But it would be hard. Like Becca said, if you stop to talk to one, you have to talk to them all. And sometimes people are just too exsauhsted for that.

There's always next time, trust me *nods* :)

Paul is a sweetie- Did you have any good convo with him?

The way I look at it, if you don't go meet them before the show, it's your own fault. Obviously they're going to be extremely exsauhsted afterwards. Since they're touring, they most likely don't get much sleep. And after playing a big show, it would get frustrating to have to put up with screaming fans after when you could be sleeping. Even though they should appreciate their fans, they need time to themselves as well. Which would be pretty hard to do while touring. And who knows, maybe they've got some personal issues they're dealing with right now.
I was talking to my friend about this the o ther day actually,
and we were saying how, if you're in a bad mood for whatever reason, it would be hard to go see a bunch of your fans and have to act like your happy. Because I'm sure they don't want to go and meet fans when they're not in a good mood. That would be bad for not only them, but the fans too. I would much rather not meet them, then meet them when they're in a shitty mood.

Best bet hang around the busses/venue. :)

Less people, better chance. I would of done it myself but I had to work and then come home and shower/get ready but of course it's also easy if you're going to stand in line all day.

Please, my friends and I have waited hours upon hours, show after show to say hi to them. They don't always come out.

And you can't always get so butthurt about it.

First time I met GC we waited until like 2:30am... they had to go get changed and all that stuff, they did the same thing to us with the not waving thing too... my mate said about it. like dude couldn;t you at least wave?
Joel just said that yeah they could, but the kids all start screaming and getting all excited, when they know they're not going to be allowed out for a good while... he don't like disappointing people, none of them do. It's best to just kind of ignore it if they know they are going to be coming out later on.
Billy said they always try to get out after shows, and if they don't there's a pretty good reason as to why they can't come out. Because at the end of the day, without their fans they don't have a job. And they are really greatful for the support they get.
you hear a lot of stories about how great the guys are when people meet them, but very few about them not coming out after shows.. proof enough for me :-)

They're just people...
They don't have super-human powers to stay awake, be alert, sign autographs and talk to everyone.
Maybe they just wanted to go have a quick power-nap

Yeah, it's mildly disappointing when they don't come out like they used to....ya' know back when it was only like 10 kids waiting outside for them, opposed to the 2000000.

Shit happens, just gotta' deal with it and respect them for at least coming out and playing a show for the fans.

wow lol i didnt know there would be 20000 people knowing to wait outside after the show, like how do u know what side of the building to go?? lol. i have seen many youtube videos lol of the guys.. and how much they really do appreciate theyre fans.. and i found it really surprising of what u just said. i didnt think the guys were really like that. like a lot of other ppl did say, they ARE human and we all know they are deff tired after a concert. theyre not 20 anymore. but not old either. ;p
i do know how you feel. im a pretty big hilary duff fan, i actually discovered GC from hilary when joel and hil were dating(omg i miss them lol) i took a listen to GC and loved them from the start. soo one day i went to a studio live with regis and kelly for the 2nd summer in a row(the 1st time she came out and signed, was super nice and took pictures with fans) i met her. the 2nd time, last april, i tried to meet her. it was an uncomfortable day very rainy and i was soaked, we had an umbrella, but being out for 3 hours will eventually get u wet. we never met her. she just went in her car (escalade actually!) and drove right past us. she couldve said hi or signed a few autographs. since it was a schoolday and very rainy and a bad day, no fans were out there. it was just my mom and i... and a few paparazzi. but i did have her tour t-shirt on. sooo... idk. celebs are just like that i guess.
i really do hope that the GC guys arent forgetting where they came from. when i listen to their music i feel like theyre normal guys, just like us... soo much different then celebrities. and i know they appreciate us. but i just hope theyre not changing slowly.
