GC Pride

Ok this may seem sad, but I dont care.
I had a revelation watching the tour blog thing.

I know why I smile everytime I listen to GC.
It aint coz I think their hot (hi Im gay, lol)
It isn't even the songs, really.

Its pride. I'm so proud of the fact that a band I've supported since I was 16, are still going strong, and putting on shows that get better and better.
I dont follow GC for their celeb status, but its because they are still the band I saw at Warped in 2001.
I will state to anyone i'm a GC fan, and if I get mocked, I ask them how many bands they have been and active fan of for that long. Not many come up with a reply.

I agree with you. I am proud to be a GC fan and I also saw them for the first time at the Warped tour. They are really nice guys and they love to meet their fans.

Its not sad that your such a fan. And I applaud you for loving GC for the music not just because you think the guys are 'HOT'. :) I admit they aren't bad on the eyes. :) lol But I'm a fan of theirs because they are dedicated to their music and love their fans and I really love being a fan. :)

Believe me when I say, I DID NOT become a GC fan cos of 'hotness'.
I became a fan cos of the MUSIC.
GC is amazing no matter how they look.
I am proud to be a GC fan :)

Its strange. Because music wise, i tend to dip in and out of different things, if that makes sense, but Gc has been constant.
Its kinda wierd.

I get that too. A lot of people seem to think its just benji and Joel in a band. As in GC have split.

I know what you mean, I love their music because they don't stick to the same formula every single album. Every time they do something different, they just get better and better and many Americans fail to see that. They aren't afraid to go in a new direction and try something new, like some artists out there don't have the balls to do.

It's a shame that more people don't see it. It shows how narrow-minded the US audience is.
