Yeahh..Its about a GC fan.
They were so young and a great fan...and then they're gone..and GC is letting them know they miss the person and they will live on forever in their hearts :)
Apparently any loss they have experienced (inc friends) and to fans.
Can also be interpreted as for being when a loved one has gone or a relationship ended. As with any song it has many meanings, although the intention of the song is patchy
yh i think it was about the fans. i dont think its dead ones cuz its asking do you like what we've become. but i could be ones that have taken their own lives. i read a big issue a couple of weeks ago and they were dissin gc they have got to get some thing right gcs music is great.
It's a beautiful song.
"You would scribble down the lyrics of your favorite song on your notebook in school when your days were long." I actually did do that, so this is my favorite part. =)
i think the song is basically about a fan that has "gone" away in death or hope or mentally and GC is letting them know that They know and want to tell that person or person(s) that they will will be forever in their hearts. i really love that song...it's good.
i found this video on youtube for the song...this person made a really good video...
yea what you said can be true too but it's this part of the song that makes me believe it's about a fans or fan(s) idk....it'd be nice if the GC guys would tell us....
Did i meet you in the crowd at one of our shows?
Did i see you in the faces that all come and go?
Did i ever take the time, to just say thanks?
Was i too caught up in my life, to ask you your name?
The truth about this life is that we're all in it together
Thats what you said to me in all your pictures and your letters
Somehow i believe, that you have made me better
In my heart i know, you're gonna live forever
Someone asked Joel on myspace a few months back and he said that they wrote it about a few fans that died, and they were sad so they wrote a song about it. And that it was about a lot of fans that died aswell.
That's the answer, I forgot that I read it somewhere.
